I've never seen a Cavs team have so many blowouts. It seems that most of the 4th qtrs this season have been garbage time.

The Knicks are terrible. I don't know how they're close to being a .500 team. The Cavs have just destroyed them both times they've faced them.

Have to love the killer instinct of this team this year. No more letting teams get back in games like they've done in recent seasons. Maybe Mike Brown's comments after the Pistons games really did have a major effect. This team has been different since then.

Guess the Cavs weren't happy enough with their 18-point victory in NYC. Impressive how they kept up the intensity (admittedly against a bad team) for virtually the whole game after the opening 6 minutes.

Hickson looked active and finished well near the basket. Some good dunks and power moves. His outside shot wasn't as comfortable, and he is not setting hard picks yet. Not really tested on the defensive end so much. I think you could call it a decent outing for him against a bad team. There were good signs and room for growth. He just seems much more comfortable and alive when he's got the ball in his hands in position to score.

Time for Camakazee's neat-o stats of the night,
(Sponsored by: LeBron leaving the Cavs to sign with Cleveland in 2010).

New York?

-In two games against the Knicks this season, the Cavs are 2-0, winning by an average of 27 points per game.

-In those games, LeBron is averaging 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block in only 29 minutes a game.

Per 36's:

-Here's a look at some select numbers from tonight, adjusted for 36 minutes in a game (since NY only lets our starters play 5-10 minutes :chuckles:):

-Ben Wallace: 6.3 points, 6.3 blocks.

-LeBron James: 27 points, 7.7 assists, 6.4 steals, 6.4 rebounds.

-Zydrunas Ilgauskas: 21.9 points, 15.7 rebounds.

-Mo Williams: 22.2 points.

If only the Knicks could've let us play our starters for a measly 36 minutes.

Pocket Pickin':

-Wally Szczerbiak got 3 or more steals for the 15th time in his career. This is the first time, however, that he got 3 or more steals, yet was held under double digits in points. Glad to see he's more committed to the defensive end as a Cavalier

-Although his career high is only seven, this is the 18th time in which LeBron James has recorded 5 or more steals in a game.

Jammin' on Jackasses Hickson:

-In the last four games he's seen action, JJ's stats look like this:

8.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in only 19.3 minutes a game.

View from the other side:

-Umm... the Knicks only had 28 turnovers?

-The Cavaliers only got 41 points off of those turnovers?

-Anthony Roberson recorded a career-high 5 three pointers made. Congrats Anthony, I'm sure you'll remember this day for the rest of your life :gap:

I don't even know what to say anymore lol, but not complaining...

These blowouts are nice, my blood pressure has been down this season so far lol. Pavs shot is looking good now, and he was actually making plays for others in that 4th quarter. JJ seems to be playing more under control other than a few mistakes here and there. Boobie is playing very well, 3 point shot is still off but everything else is going well for him. 18 steals and 8 blocks shots by the Cavs.......

Looking forward to the Indiana game, its gonna be a dog fight imo...

Another rare stat tonight: LeBron shot 10 for 10 from the FT line. (Cavs were 26 for 30 as a team)

I really loved the fact that Delonte struggled in the first half and the 1st 5 plays in the second half were for him to take his man off the dribble and get his shot back. That's really nice to see.

I love those throwback jerseys. Much better looking than the present ones. They should make the switch and use the throwback as the standard.

This might seem far fetched but think about it for a second, could Pavs be our Posey?
His defense is above average, fat, can hit threes, and plays the SF and SG postion.

His 3 point shot isnt as good as posey or his defense but he fits the mold.

Just thinkin.

I don't like the old ones at all. Better than the baby blue Cavs though.

The throwback jersey and specifically the logo is a much better piece of design. It's simple and easy to read. It doesn't look like its going 70 miles per hour like all of the modern sports logos do. The new logo is pretty clunky. The gold jerseys look sharp. Like the East Coast version of the Lakers.

Not trying to turn this into a design debate, just sayin. Glad to see another Cavs blowout

Well, most Cavs fans were definitely hoping he'd be able to return to '06/'07 form and be a solid defensive stopper who can knock down some shots. He had a pretty terrible start to this season in the little time he got, but things are at least looking up for him now. I'd love if he earns a consistent spot in our rotation.
