Game 19 - Cavs @ Wolves

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How do we even have 7 wins??

Prior to Thursday night, our veterans at least played hard and acted like they cared.

We all thought LeBron put the nail in our coffin on July 8th, in reality....he didn't hammer the nail in until Thursday night, and by then the nail has rusted.

Most three-point field goals, game
The Orlando Magic hit 23 three-pointers against the Sacramento Kings on Jan. 13, 2009.

TWolves have 16 right now.

A coach can try to motivate his players, but if they can't make a shot, there's nothing he can do. i just think the whole team (the players and the coach) knows that this team doesn't have the talent to win...everyone in the organization knows where this team is going...i say let them lose and get some draft picks....that's really the only way for this organization to get out of this hole anyway.

Naw. A team takes on the personality of it's coach no matter how much talent it has. That's my concern and why I am now questioning our head coach. The coach is the Man who has the responsibility to motivate and get them ready to play. The players have that same responsibility to themselves to get motivated. Players make big time money to play this game. That should be a built in motivation to want to play hard and to the best of your ability. For some reason, these current players have none of that. No desire. No heart. There is nothing there at all.

I am officially questioning our head coach. No spin. What's going on?

We should have kept Mike Brown. He fucked some things up, but most of his problems were a result of having a player running the show that had no respect for him or his own teammates. Brown would have this team playing defense at least.

That's not even true in the slightest.

The front office and Byron Scott can preach about a transition year and they can preach about whatever they want but ultimately the most important players on this team are veterans who still aren't over or even mad about LeBron leaving them in the dust. At first they were at least playing hard but after the Thursday night meltdown they have basically thrown in the towel on caring. They know they will never compete for a title in a Cavs jersey again and they don't really care enough to prove themselves or even try to.

The veterans are ready to move on and end their tenure as Cavaliers and I think that Dan Gilbert and Chris Grant should assist them in doing such.

a coach can't motivate the ball into the hoop. if a player bricks a wide open jumper, how is that the coach's fault?

a coach has to at least have talent he can work with. Byron has none.

Nah. When your best defender, fan favorite, heart of the team, energy guy, etc quits the way Varejao has done there's nothing that can be done.

We have mentally weak, marginally talented players who are still in shellshock from going from 60 wins each of the last two years, to probably 25 this season. We don't have a single player that can create their own shot. Don't try to read too much into their efforts. By the time we're reasonably good again, none of these guys will still be here. Scott has proven he can coach, but he's not a miracle worker.

The easiest thing is to talk shits about Byron Scott. With this team, GOD can't win, and Byron is just a human. The reality is: IT'S TIME FOR REBUILDING. Byron Scott is good coach, but our players just sucks.

Shouldn't have been a flagrant...but it's nice to see a hard foul.

Edit: Why am I still watching this...? :(

Pretty sure God would have the refs in his back pocket . . .

I can't believe we are about to lose by 35+ to a Beasley-less Timberwolves team....wow

Cavs get raped again. Sigh.

Whatever, not giving up on this team. We'll beat Detroit tomorrow.

What is scary is how the team has regressed since the first few weeks of the season. They look lost and scared, and often apathetic! I have heard whispers that Coach Scott is getting A LOT more pissed off than he has shown publicly. This could get ugly (uglier?) realy quickly....
