I'd almost rather treat him like a starter at this point. Rest him. We can't afford to get him hurt.
Nah man he needs the mileage.
He won't look this good all the time, so adversity is a good thing.
I get what you are saying, but he has nothing to prove in my eyes. He is playing about as well as he possibly can. In the 4th quarter, it would probably be him with the ball in his hands gunning and taking tough shots. One of his most impressive qualities is that he is playing perfectly within the offense and knows his role. I just hope he wouldn't develop a gunning mentality in garbage time, and as that time is usually ugly basketball anyway, I think it could be a detriment to his confidence at this point. Also because his confidence should already be at it's peak so it can only go down. Why not play him as much as possible? Especially in a blow out.
He's only played 18 minutes. Building any momentum/confidence is big for an inexperienced player.
Liggins is great out there. Tons of hustle. He brings the energy that we need to get everyone going, like Delly last year.
Wing minutes should be almost exclusively LeBron/JR/Shump/Liggins going forward. RJ and Dunleavy as last options.
