Game #20 Cleveland Cavaliers at New York Knicks (12/7/16)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd almost rather treat him like a starter at this point. Rest him. We can't afford to get him hurt.

Nah man he needs the mileage.

He won't look this good all the time, so adversity is a good thing.

Liggins is great out there. Tons of hustle. He brings the energy that we need to get everyone going, like Delly last year.

Wing minutes should be almost exclusively LeBron/JR/Shump/Liggins going forward. RJ and Dunleavy as last options.

It's amazing how easy it is to predict when the other team will go on a run against us.

We don't need much from him. Defense, hustle, don't force shit, and hit open shots.

But I agree, he needs reps, still. Any experience/playing time is big for his growth.

All these turnovers now. Cut it.

Shumpert is a blooper highlight reel this game.

Why not play him as much as possible? Especially in a blow out.

He's only played 18 minutes. Building any momentum/confidence is big for an inexperienced player.
I get what you are saying, but he has nothing to prove in my eyes. He is playing about as well as he possibly can. In the 4th quarter, it would probably be him with the ball in his hands gunning and taking tough shots. One of his most impressive qualities is that he is playing perfectly within the offense and knows his role. I just hope he wouldn't develop a gunning mentality in garbage time, and as that time is usually ugly basketball anyway, I think it could be a detriment to his confidence at this point. Also because his confidence should already be at it's peak so it can only go down.

And he is probably our best bench player right now, between him and Frye. I wouldn't risk injury or his confidence going down.

Cavs kind of looked like shit in that quarter.

TT on pace for 24 rebounds.

I'd give Jordy Mac time out there in this quarter. See what he's got.

We need to keep letting this kid play with the starters for a bunch of games. If we could develop him while we work through injuries and what not, that would give us so many more options as the trade deadline looms.

Dan Gilbert needs to convince Trump Corp to buy hotels in every NBA city (especially in San Fran). Honeymoon is over!!!

To be fair RJ has been looking better & better the last few games & he was so big for us in the playoffs last year, so I would still give want him to get consistent minutes, Liggins is looking good though, his defense is contagious
