Game 22 | Hornets (14-9) @ Cavaliers (16-5) | December 10, 2016 | 7:30 PM

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Finally we are playing 1 big, no need to play 2 bigs against them

This team has...I don't know what else you call it, such a masochistic impulse. And it's not a new thing, it's been that way for years now. Rather than step on a team's throat they'd rather fuck around and make it hard on themselves.

Why is that? Do they feel guilty about throttling teams? Can LBJ Heat watchers tell me if they had this same problem, or is it unique to the Cavs?

We've just destroyed the last 2 teams we played.

Wow, I had no idea LeBron had scored 17 straight until Fred just mentioned it. Crazy.

It looked like Shump was doing the Mannequin Challenge on that possession that he missed the 3 lol

Lebron came to play with them tonight

I don't even know how to describe LeBron right now... he's almost 32. He looks 27 again.

Was it the extra-intensive summer thanks to Durant going to the Warriors that has him looking like this? Like, this is the closest to Miami LeBron I've seen in the regular season since he came back.

Horrible teams. I'm referring to our mercurial performances against quality teams.

But isn't that the point? The Hornets are a good team. Well coached. Run good plays. Third best record in the EC. They are not going to allow themselves to be dominated an entire game. Just because we go up 15-16 against them in the first half doesn't mean it's a blight on our character or focus if we don't win the game by 20-30 points. They're a quality team that we just beat by double digits.

Yeah, the Heat would do the same thing. During their 27 game winning streak they had a ton of games where they really should/could have lost.

And you're pleased that LeBron had to log 40 minutes on a December back-to-back to achieve that?

It's bullshit. This game should have been over midway through the 3rd, with LeBron getting some much-needed rest.
