Game 23 | Memphis (17-8) @ Cavs (17-5) | December 13, 2016 | 7:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Cavs are sitting LeBron, Love and Kyrie tomorrow. I'm all for resting guys, but fuck, at least give yourself a chance.
How many points you think Vegas will spot?

YowzA

This is something that Popovich has pulled off splendidly in the past with the 5-time champion Spurs.

So it doesn't bother me at all, even if it might be a lopsided loss.

And to add to that: We only have 5 losses in the East. With the Raptors' 7 losses, the Cavs are probably thinking they can afford a game early on in the season.

Tomorrow could be a fun game to bet. Over/under 25 shots for JR. Over/Under 20 threes for JR. Over/Under 70 total points for Cleveland. Over/under 40% shooting for the game...

Etc.

Sucks to be the Memphis Cavs fans.

Talk about a Hulk Hogan big boot right to the dick followed by a leg drop.

We won't put up 50 if Jr is off tomorrow

Glad to see Smith back into an offensive groove and Love continuing his excellent play. Also nice to see Shumpert in a positive pattern. Liggins with the start and he continues the hustle.

Didn't like the offense, too stagnant, lazy and ISO oriented.
Defense was great, loved what Liggins brings to the table..
Don't like watching Felder playing with Lebron and have him stand at the 3pt line. He needs the ball in his hands to be effective.
Lebron should have rested more, there was plenty of opportunities to give him more rest during the game, didn't really like the rotations by Lue.

You'll see more of Felder tonight with ball in his hands with the big 3 resting. He'll most probably play with the 2nd unit of him, McRae , Dunleavey, Fyre

NBA has to cut the season and fine teams that rest their players. Tracy McGrady, Chauncey said it best, don't pay the player for that game and see what happens.

Pussy players these days, back in the day everybody played 82 games, see Michael Jordan. Dude also played 82 as a Wizard.

Dec. 11th, 12th off days, play 13th, 14th, off days 15th, 16th, play 17th, off days 18th, 19th.

This is just a middle finger to the NBA for a back to back. Fuck it, just play LeBron at home only. We got a back to back vs Milwaukee coming up, I'm sure a rest day, and @Detroit the day after GS, another rest day.

NBA hates these rest games, they started OCT 25th for a reason. I'm sure they'll look into addressing it again.

With the big 3 resting tonight , I hope Ty Lue doesn't rest them again for the Bucks Back to Back games next week. It's only December and Lebron and Kyrie will have already taken 2 games off. Kyrie has had a full week off now before we play Lakers on Saturday.

Just because players played through it in the past doesnt make it smart.

Players use to return to games with concussions back in the day, should they do that now?

What the front office and coaching staff have learned is how to rest players on certain days to improve their performance in the playoffs. Last year was a perfect example. A better rested Cavs team ran a 73 win GS team out of gas. I rather give a few games up and win another championship.

Honestly what i like is we went 100% all in on the rest day and resting all 3 of our big 3. Not fucking around and making sure they all get rest is the smart way to play this.

Maybe T-Mac wouldn't have been washed up at 28 if he had a couple more off days along the way.
