Game 25 | New Jersey @ Cleveland | December 15, 2009 | 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There's plenty to be concerned about. As I mentioned, this win does nothing but make us 18-7.....and I'd say that record is a bit misleading with the way we've played. Same thing can be said about a 66-16 record.

I thought that every time we did something wrong..we eventually fixed it and improved..which is a good sign.

23 1st half FT's...gave up 6 in the 2nd half.

Couldn't beat the zone....after a timeout we started attacking it perfectly with LeBron in the middle of the court.

Not great...but I'm not upset about much that happened during the game.

We saw Shaq get some good lift(although he missed a dunk...that wasn't a lift problem that was just a rare miscue)

I agree with what Chris Webber said during the half, where is the killer instinct? Where is the sense that you want to completely own inferior teams?

A win is a win, but what can you take out beating the Nets by 10?

well as InBoobieWeTrust showed, I guess a lot of the top teams are lacking killer instinct

I definitely think we need more focus, but I don't agree with Webber. Who gives a shit if we have the attitude that we wanna own shitty teams? I want the attitude that we're the best of the best. If that means that we're only going to come out focused against the best, that sucks, but I'd rather have that than last year's attitude. Last year we beat the crap out of most of the league and thought we were hot shit. When it comes down to it, we were .500 against the Celts, and couldn't beat the Magic or Lakers to save our lives.

Learn to deal I guess. We're 7-2 against over .500 clubs right now so let's see if that continues. If so, the lack of focus against shitty teams will merely be frustrating, not a huge problem come playoff time.

Shaq and Z great game! 32 points 10 REBS 3 ast and 6 blocks between them. The big difference In this game and that Is good to see.

One of the only good things that seemed to happen tonight..

And by the way, what's so different about a player WRAPPING up LeBron as he's about to go up??? Is that making a play on the ball??? IMO, that shit is WAY MORE flagrant than both the Harris play tonight and the above video.

It was NOT an unsportsman-like act...that's where the whole maliciousness comes on. We'll agree to disagree.

Oh, it was unsportsman like to me. I know Harris isn't like that at all, but his emotions got to him. The arm was NO where near the ball. His arm and hand went to the head and down. It could have been disastrous if not for the flexibility of Moon and the fact he got his right hand down to brace himself against the floor. From the baseline angle, it looked nasty.

Sloppy win against an undermanned team. It happens, especially for a team that has had problems staying focused.

The bigger problem for me is that the Cavs had the perfect opportunity to blow out the Nets and to spread the minutes around even more so that they would be even more rested for the 76ers on a back-to-back. It's sorta fortunate that they were in foul trouble so the bigs all played.

But LeBron playing 40 and Mo for 37 against the Nets at home??? The end of the bench should have played the whole 4th quarter. I really hope it doesn't come back to haunt them tomorrow....

That's because moon went up and under!! If Moon went straight up, it would have been a normal foul. But because moon went under with it in a fraction of a second, the ball was not there.....the ball was protected by Moon's body.

Well LBJ and Mo playing high minutes has a lot to do with not having West, and Mike Brown's lack of substitutions. JJ and AV playing low minutes.

Does anybody else think we should start playing Shaq more minutes as a means of getting him in better shape quicker?

it is and I have been arguing that all year. I would love to see an intentional foul called every time lebron is fouled on a break away and isnt able to get a shot off

Because it's not unnecessary or excessive.

I'd add that it doesn't put LeBron in danger, but by saying that I'm doing the same thing you are by stepping outside the NBA definition. I guess the NBA refs think a blow to the head/neck is unnecessary but a hug isn't.

you wont win this bigMar. its a easy F2 all the way. harris was no where near the ball (regardless of what he meant to do or what moon did) and then hit mood square in the head/neck area. Thats all there is to it. any hit above the shoulders without getting ball is pretty much an automatic F2

We could argue this shit to death.....

The LeBron "hugs" are NOT plays on the ball....where as the Ariza play and, IMHO, the recent Harris play were BOTH plays ON the ball.
