Game #27 (Jazz @ Cavaliers) Monday, December 20th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Only started watching in the 4th and I'm only going by the box score so of course I could be wrong, but I don't see how you can blame this loss on JJ.

3 for 4 for 9 points, our leading rebounder, and only 1 turnover in 20 minutes. He also went to the line more than any of our other players so he's at least attacking the rim.

From the stats I would say we could blame this more on Jamison and Mo going 5 for 15 and 17

Nope, JJ got a ton of rebounds that came right to him. He got smoked on defense all night, and refused to box out even when he had superior position. Jawad was just terrible as usual, and so was Sessions.

I hope Coach Scott sees what a lot of us already know. That Jawad Williams sucks monkey balls and a perpetual loser. Put Manny Harris in.

I'm surprised by JJ's 9 rebounds. That number is deceptive of the kind of effort he put in.

Hickson cares more about making a statement with his shoes than his game.

Jazz announcers said they noticed that the Cavs are good at pushing the ball up court to the FT line, but then everyone seems to stop, no one cutting to the basket.

I was at the game like always..and Jamison is killing us. For one he takes WAY WAY to many long jumpers without making them. Then on D he gets abused by whoever he guards. Andy is always trying to help, which puts him out of position for rebounds. Jamison needs to live in the post. Our threes should be shot by Mo, Parker, and Gibson.

How good would Jefferson look on this team? AV and Big Al would be a very good combo at the 4-5. TPE and some late picks is all it took.

And the other part is it how amazing certain "no name" players just can't miss against us. Bell and Miles killed us, seemed like they couldn't miss--Miles was shooting 41% from the floor and 32% from three coming into the game. Bell 41% and 34%. So of course they combine to shoot 56% from the field and from three. And quite a few of their shots they were guarded closely. Hell Miles hit one from 30 feet at the end of the shot clock.....

Yea, it was honestly his best game in a month, and it still wasn't very good despite the box score.

One play that sticks out in my mind was on a semi-fastbreak by Utah when Hickson was forced to foul Williams or else give up a lay-up. While the foul was a good foul to take because Williams was going to score, it was only necessary because Hickson was loafing getting back and ended up way out of position to defend the Williams drive. Had he hustled, he could have been in position to block the shot or take a charge.

At least he didn't force any jumpers tonight or really even take any. If he simply stops shooting jumpers he'll be more useful than he is now.

I was at the game tonight too. It was amazing how bad it was from the fans. I can't say I blame us, but it was bad. No emotion or electricity at all. The game itself was not memorable. I was able to have a perfectly audible conversation with the girl I brought without having to yell or cup my hand over my mouth. Gibson's play was really all that stood out to me at all. As a fan, probably the worst experience I've had at a Cavs game in years. No electicity in the building at all, even when the game was close.

Yea but more importantly did you F##K that bitch?

I watched this match. I think we played all right up untill the 3rd. Utah just went on a massive run and we could not stop it. Not J.J's fault, not Jawad's fault. The team's fault.

Cmon guys why you always blame certin players when we lose. We are a team. 1 player sturggle's, we all sturggle. 1 player wins, we all win.

You guys remember this....ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL

:chuckles: Total rebound bang, she just got out of a 3 year relationship 2 days ago.

Oh, and I blame Jawad for this loss. Not necessarily because of anything he did, I just hate having him on the team.

The 7:00 starts are tough. For one a lot of people can't get their by tip off. Also remember we are a team that is winning less than 30% of their games. I for one am shocked that over 16,000 prob. showed up. I was shocked at how good a crowd we had on Sat. against the Knicks-prob. more than 19,000 showed up.

When we cut it to 64-60..we had two wide open three's that would have cut it to one..had either gone down the place would have exploded--Jazz would have called time out..maybe Jawad never comes in..and we win by 20...(well that is how I imagine it at least, actually I am going to pretend that is what happened :chuckles: )
