Game #31, Orlando Magic vs. Cavs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I refuse to get on Mo Williams case when he is being asked to do far, far more than he is capable of doing. They want him to be a number 1 scoring option AND the number 1 facilitator. Look at his contract. He isn't getting paid like someone who can actually do both of those things for a reason. He's honestly doing the best he possibly can given what is being asked.

Quoted for absolute truth. Another problem is that Byron sits him for too long, and he gets cold. I am amazed at how bad our 2nd unit is. Our starting lineup hangs with other teams, the subs blow it in the 4th, and the starters can't catch back up. Rinse and repeat.

We were even at the end of the 3rd. Scott just had to take out a bunch of starters, including Andy. You knew what would happen then. It did. I don't understand why we wait until we are 12 points behind with 6 minutes left to put back in Andy and Mo, etc. I understand they need to rest, but these are kids for gosh sakes. They can play a few more minutes if it means the game is close at the end with a chance to win.

More than 10 missed foul shots. Can't EVER guard the 3 point line. How do we ever expect to win any game at all?

JJ Hickson took a close game and put ORLANDO up 10. He sucks so much.

Eh, they actually outplayed Orlando the entire game. It was awesome to watch, but they broke the team with 3's as usual. As usual Howard hits on most of his ft's and we miss ours. I really think Orlando has some voodoo against us. Shit I mean Orlando beat us more often than we beat them the entire Howard era. It is really obvious that even when the team plays a good game like this, that they need more talent to win.

I was really disappointed with this one because they were playing really well, and the magic got so hot from 3. Our team too often plays 3 or fewer good quarters.

JJ actually played pretty well, he was going for rebounds actually, showed heart. (I was at the game.)

He needs to work on his free throw shooting that was horrendous.

Solid defense in the 4th, but the Magic were just firing on all cylinders it was horrible.

Very disappointing. Andy was fantastic against Howard last night and got everyone pumped up with his energy. Basically an even game through 3 quarters and then suddenly, with Howard on the bench, they jump to a huge lead. Our main guys played too well for it to end up a 15 point loss.

JJ did work hard at the boards, but i am baffled by 1-7 foul shooting. This from a player who started the season at over 80% foul shooting. In general our bench is awful and aside from JJ, the most baffling player is Moon. He starts and h as a decent game, he comes off the bench and does absolutely nothing. Maybe it would m ake the team better to start Moon and bring booby off of the bench so we have someone off the bench who can score.

Even though we blew this game near the end, I really liked how we played for most of the game. Boobie came back strong, Verajao looked great.

When they shoot 61% from 3, there really is not much you can do.

I liked the overall effort as well, but there IS something we can DO . . . . defend the perimeter better

with Howard out of the game there is no reason for not getting in someones grill and better contesting these shots

we need to do a better job

First night of a back to back.

Andy was giving 130% against the best Center in the league and winning the battle. I don't blame him for resting the starters a bit as they'll most likely pull 42 minutes or so tonight.

Our bench needs improvement, they're killing us.....kinda ironic considering the bench was playing very well early in year and our starters were crappy.

That's because our 2 best bench performers at the start of the year (Boobie and Antawn) were moved from the bench to starting. At least we now have the best 5 players starting...

in my book they can't cut Moon and Graham fast enough . . . . and maybe Leon Powe . . is he even healthy?

I like the alonzo gee pick up, but would like to see them pickup someone like Flip Murray who could provide instant offense off the bench
