Game 33 | Cleveland @ Atlanta | December 29, 2009 | 7:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nice Preview, Whoa! I didnt know the Cavs cloned Danny Green, maybe were going to clone LeBron next :chuckles:

Perimeter Defense is key, cant be having bibby marvin jamal and joe get streaky

and what dude said, force Josh Smith into jumpers

Cavs have beaten two of the best teams on the road..Orlando/LA..no reason why they can't clip the Hawk's wings either..JJ is a key..he has to take it to Smith and not allow Smith to get those thunder slams he likes to do..

We are catchin up with the Celtics! This game is crucial because there is like 3 teams in the East all tied with 8 losses. We need to get some seperation. Im feeling good about this game. Philips arena is dead quiet anyway. I went to the away Hawks game last year and we killed them. Lets keep the win streak goin!

I would like the match ups to go:

Bibby-Delonte(Mo)

Joe Johnson-Parker-Moon-Delonte

Marvin Williams-LeBron-Moon-(maybe Delonte if LeBron drops down to Josh)

Josh Smith-Andy-LeBron-(maybe even Z against him. I know Z is slow but if he sagged off and forced him to shoot jumpers it could work. He would struggle driving inside with Z and Shaqs height anyway).

Horford-Shaq and Shaq all night. Andy might have problems. Z I know would.

Big statement if we can win tonight.

I agree. Atlanta is considered a top team right now. If we beat them on the road...HUGE statement.

I think we can, we're a better team overall. We're too big for them, and maybe at one point they were more athletic than us, but now we have the personnel to match up with them. If our lineup with Shaq isn't working out, we could always go to a Andy/LeBron/Moon/West or Parker/Mo lineup. Meanwhile, they can't really match up to our size.

Just a random stat that was on the bottom line:

LeBron on the road this year:

31.2ppg, 7.3 apg, 7.2 rpg. :king:

We're going to win 90 straight regular season games?! Awesome!

Big props to all the copy editors on this board. I'm a little embarrassed about all the mistakes. Although, I may or may not have been under the influence when I was working on this thread...

Mike Brown's regular season record is 235-125. Again, just a little dyslexic moment that may or may not have been caused by my state of mind...:chuckles:

Great, just saw this game is going to be on NBATV. Now I get to watch Kevin McHale and C-Webb play with a touchscreen tv during crucial plays instead of actually watching the game.

:banghead:

I know there is alot of stat guys out there. What is some of our number against the Hawks in the past. Any weird stats against the Hawks?

From the media guide:

In a back-to-back home and home series, Cleveland will face Atlanta for the first time this season after sweeping the Hawks in last year’s playoffs. In the regular season, the Cavaliers have won two straight games over the Hawks and four straight games at The Q.

Since 2003-04, the Cavaliers have the second highest winning percentage at 17-5, .773 against the Hawks with San Antonio 10-2 (.833) the only team better. The Cavs have not allowed the Hawks to score 100 points at home since Dec. 28, 2004 – a span of seven meetings, which is the team’s longest active streak versus one opponent on the road. Is it just me or that new Hawks logo looks like somekind of a retarded pacman?
