This is a insanely crazy game to come out with a win but we did it. Win streak is still alive! After the Celtics lose today, we will have a nice lead atop of the Eastern Conference.

best way to cap off the night = Suns beat celtics!

this win might be his best birthday gift he've ever had......

im going on the assumption you were watching online, in which case I would 100% agree with you because thats what I saw.. HOWEVER the announcers said several times it reset to 19.

that said the shot clock had NOTHING to do with the turnover. I dont think the hawks were even aware of it until after the coach pointed it out. the turnover came a couple of seconds before the violation, and I think had the horn not sounded, no one would have noticed.

I watched the broadcast on tv, I just believe the announcers made a mistake. The idea of it not mattering regardless because they didn't get the shot clock violation is wrong because they were given less time to get into their offense and were therefore put at a disadvantage and rushed into a shot.

I had to listen to Joe Tait in the 4th Q...no idea what this shot clock thing is all about, but amazing win.

I watched the replay several times with DVR, and you could tell Smith had no idea, he never even looked in the direction of either shot clock. He was going to try to make his move regardless. It really had no effect on what happened, I think Bibby noticed but it was after he passed it.

someone else mentioned it was at 9 when they crossed half court so thats what the thanks are for.

that said clearly bibby and smith didnt notice the shot clock. neither one of them rushed or said a thing. instead it was the head coach who pointed it out after the turnover. the assistant coach CLEARLY noticed and brought it to the hawks coach attention. but not a single hawk pointed at the shot clock or rushed a thing

There is no way anyone can truly know what the Atlanta Hawks knew of the shot clock situation and whether it truly affected them or not, it doesn't matter even, all that matters is that they were potentially put at a disadvantage on that posession because of a mistake and the league cannot like that.

You can't argue a point like awareness of a shot clock, it's basically impossible.

I hate to spoil the party, but is there anyway we're going to have to replay the last 2 minutes?

Damn, where's Windhorst when you need him?

In a Mike Woodson interview he said they will file a protest and he said he will ask if they can replay the last 2 minutes or something. I kind of think that is going to happen even though it was 19 seconds and if Bibby as a PG didnt realize the time mess up then you have to think the play wasnt a forced play because of the malfunction. If anything Woodson should of got the attention of his team and called a timeout or something.

Okay this has probably already been said but the Refs screwed us too.

With 9:40 to go in the 4th Boobie Clearly hit a 3. For some reason the refs counted it as a 2. I don't think they corrected either.

woodson and his assistants noticed (well the assistant pointed it out to him) but the hawks clearly didnt. had the shot clock expired when they were just dribbling yes it would have been reset, that said they turned the ball over BEFORE the shot clock expired. like i said early had the buzzer not gone off would have anyone noticed?
