LET'S GO CAVS!

Let's all enjoy this matchup of the two best teams in the NBA. We'll see them again...

I am propably more hyped and anxious as i was all season.

I had little expectations on Christmas at GSWs Homecourt and we showed we can hang with them.

Now the Spurs actually scare me more so far. So i those two Games against them in the next 10 will be a good test for us.

I will not be mad if we lose a close tough game tonight. Spurs at Home is Brutal. But i want the guys to give everything they got. Then get even in Cle the next Meeting.

You forgot Boban on the Spurs bench bunch!
I grabbed their top 8 bench players according to MPG.

Sidenote - The Finals patches look so much better on the front of the jersey. Someone needs to force Silver to go back to that.

Our schedule might be tougher over the next 10 games, but damn is this going to be a good few weeks of basketball. I was pretty tired of watching us play the 6ers lol.

But this game, and moreover this potential series, is going to be A+ entertainment.

Spurs are too good... we need everyone to be on their A game tonight.

This would be a huge win. Should still start Moz though.

If we don't it could get ugly fast. I think the Spurs win either way. They are the best team in the NBA right now and they are at home.

Let's pray GS beats them in the playoffs.

Would love nothing more than to see LeBron sit tonight.
And it will be very arrogant step from our side to do so. What kind of message you send when sitting your best player
in the hardest game you can imagine, against the toughest opponent at their undefeated arena, when you still fight against them for potential HCA in the finals, while you have had (against the 76'ers for example), and will have, multiple other reasonable opportunities to let him rest without to automatically cause it to a loss?

Hopefully LeBron switches into playoff mode and treats this like a Finals game. He can put up 40, 15, and 8 routinely if he gives full effort from start to finish. Obviously not realistic to expect that out of him every day in the regular season, but games like today are worth it. Save it for the Spurs and Warriors.

This is the litmus test for this group of players. A huge task but one they have the potential to step up to. I won't be disappointed if we lose playing hard and with unity. I'll be annoyed if we lose doing iso and chucking threes.

Our advantages are kyrie anywhere and love on the perimeter. If we can defend Duncan and Aldridge with TT and love then we should be able to out work them offensively and spread the floor

Spurs are the definition of a well oiled machine. We are getting better but just not there yet. We need our shots to fall, and play the best D we can. If they don't fall, we lose-- I don't see us come-from-behind winning against the spurs like we routinely do to other teams.

Cavs have to start hot.. cannot get down by 15 points to this team.
They also must be more active on defense.
Not take bad ill advised shots-ERRRR Lebron and JR!
They must move the ball and find the open shooter, not play one on one..Spurs like to play clogging/switching defenses.
The matchup between Leonard/James will be key..
Moz vs Duncan..Moz can't be passive with Timma..he's got to take it to him.
This is a game Blatt needs to go deep on the bigs.
