I propose we make ANOTHER trade for a veteran, and then give Brown even more established vets to come and expose him for his horrible in-game coaching.
I've never gone into a game thinking our players were being put in a position to win because of our coach, and this game was a prime example. When Mike Malone made adjustments at halftime, Mike Brown did not. When Mike Malone made substitutions to take advantage of hot players for this night, Mike Brown did not. Brown let Malone dictate the game/matchups, just like he did in those playoff series where he was outcoached. Jimmer Fredette being subbed in does not dictate you counter what Malone is doing to guard him... you dont change your rotation JUST to guard Jimmer Fredette. Players see that, and they feel as if they are not the aggressor but instead the reactors. Bad coaching. Defensive coordinator mindset.
I'd KILL to see Mike Malone coaching this team instead of Mike Brown.
Congrats to Sacramento for taking a chance on a guy who can coach. In good time, they will buy in to him and be dangerous.
