Game 42| Chicago Bulls (24-17)(1 pending) at Cleveland (30-11) 1/23/16 @ 8:30

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This is a game where I want to see Ty Lue make his mark.

Kyrie Irving/Kevin Love better not be caught defending Derrick Rose in the 1-4/5 PnR/PnP.

You can hide Irving on Snell who is a below average slasher and finisher and just have him body him on the perimeter to mitigate the catch and shoot three (50% of Snell's attempts per game).

This is a game where a 3-guard rotation works, with Irving as the 3rd guard, with your primary two perimeter players being Dellavedova and Iman Shumpert. That tandem will work against Rose and Butler and in a big way.

James should be on Gasol or Gibson, switching 4-5, with Kevin Love; old school post-defense.

I don't want to see us hard-hedging the ball with Love; use James at the 4 for this, there is no reason not to since James will find himself between Snell and Gibson.

Either way, I think this game will come down to our defense and our ability to stop the Bulls from getting easy looks. We need to force them into bad shots.

Offensively, I think we'll be fine, but I want to see how we focus our attention on getting Love touches (not necessarily attempts), keeping him engaged.

I also want us to start using Mozgov with his back to the basket a bit more. Some of these bullet passes are too hard for him to catch.

Kevin Love draws an instant double team and is the teams second best passer by far; he can get the ball to Mozgov in the low post, from the elbow, for some easy looks. That's fundamental basketball, but we rarely do it instead preferring our guards to make the entry pass - hope we see some changes to that.

We should be dominating this game. Let's see what happens.

ABC on a saturday night? I thought that shit was reserved for ice skating or gymnastics

The Cavs snap chat account had a video at 6:09 with the caption "early work" of LeBron and LeBron only shooting around. And a subsequent video of him practicing his midrange game (which if I recall correctly @Chris Parker said is very rare of him to do).

For better or worse I do think we will see LeBron in a much more focused demeanor for the rest of the season. And we all know that trickles down

He can score 50 points a game from here on out, for all I care. Until the rest of the "Big Three" decide to play some defense, it doesn't matter.

Someone just accepted my bid on flash seats so I'm headed to the game! Pretty excited to see how the team comes out and how Lue is received by the crowd.
Have fun man! I'm expecting a blood bath tonight... fuck the Bulls!

No excuses. LeBron, Love, everyone. They better come to play or they can fuck right off.

Season starts tonight, fellas.
