Game 43 | Kings @ Cavaliers | Tuesday, Jan. 27th, 7:00PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
going to orlando with that type of defense will be cruel....he needs to put some fire in their ass,not literally;) (i had to do it DJG!!)

Cavs (and many teams in the East) often struggle on the first game after their annual long Western Conference road trip. By long, I mean 4-6 games.

Before tonight, over the last 4 seasons, the Cavs were 1-3 at home in their first game back from those trips. So, I'm just glad they won when not playing their best. Gives stuff for Mike Brown to yell at them tomorrow.

Very nice to see Kinsey and Hickson both play with energy and get decent results much of the time. Mo was ridiculous. Must be the first Cavs win where LeBron gets a triple double and doesn't lead the headlines.

Lebron in his postgame interview said he gets way to much credit, and that some of the other players and coaching staff dont get enough

Did LeBron get asked "what is it like to get posterized by Tarence Kinsey"? :)

Someone said to Coach Brown (and I paraphrase) "Despite the defensive effort you outrebounded them by a 2 to 1 margin. You have to be happy about that."

Coach Brown: "Okay.......................okay."

I'm guessing he won't be giving the team a day off tomorrow.

Tonight's game was good for us in SOOOOOOO many ways:

(1) There are always ups and downs in the season -- both offensively and defensively. We were able to have a horrible night defensively, and still win. This will give the coaching staff the same motivational amunition as if we lost, but we still maintain our perfect record at home and get a win out of the deal.

(2) Mo Williams proved he's an all-star and a REAL second option for this team, regardless of whether or not anyone else in the league recognizes it. Sure, the Kings play shitty defense, but Mo was on his way to 50 and almost posted a triple double -- regardless of who the other team is, that's no easy accomplishment in the NBA.

(3) Kinsey gained even more confidence and was rewarded with more minutes after his performance against the Warriors. And depending on Brown's perception of Kinsey's performance, he earned the right to keep getting some minutes on a regular basis.

(4) Hickson is really looking like he's starting to feel comfortable out there, and tonights game just added to his rising comfort level on the floor...looks like Z's injury was a REALLY good thing for this team if Hickson keeps improving on the curve that we're seeing. We may have a consistent 4 big man rotation when Z comes back.

I went to this game and I got to say Mo is so smooth. His jumper was on and he is definantly an all star. Defense wasnt there but we scored enought points and the kings werent helping by hitting there jumpers.

Mo and Bron were this close to becoming the 3rd tandom since 1989 to record triple doubles in the same game---last year Kidd and Vincanity accomplished the feat and MJ and the original robin did it back in 89'

Yeah I agree. Who is the idiot that said that Mo wasn't a legit second option any way. Pft guy must feel really dumb after tonights performance.
