No. Just no. LeBron wasn't very great but this team should be able to beat the Spurs with him playing how he did tonight. JR playing 29 minutes is inexcusable. Shump being the first guy off the bench is inexcusable. IT plays zero defense. Love got worked by Aldridge. They should beat the Spurs when they're missing the guys they are even when LeBron has a mehh game.
I can use the disagree button too man. I agree JR shouldn't be playing 29. That's why #1 is Lue. But LeBron is the damn trend setter on this team. If he's playing lazy ass defense and leaving guys to guard two different players, how is that on the other defender.
Okay, are you really blaming IT's defense like you didn't know he might be the worst defender in the league. We don't have a system that can make up for his lack of defense like Boston did. You send him back there, I guarantee you he's back to a 25 ppg player. Our coaching is just trash.
Love guarding Aldridge should never happen. Lamarcus' jumper is too damn unguardable and he's too strong for Love so Tristan should have been on him from the start. Also on Lue.
LeBron was out there taking shots to get his points and was extremely careless with the ball. He had a Russell Westbrook type game. Low percentage, but got the stats so if you look back you're like "oh hey, LeBron scored, rebounded and assisted. Had more assists than turnovers. That's a positive, right?" No.
The whole team is a mess, starting with the poor lineups which is all on Lue and then the effort on the floor, which is 50/50 Lue and LeBron. You're the leader of the fucking team, your effort drives others' effort. You can keep passing out the disagrees, but you'll be wrong 100 times out of 100. IT is less than 10 games back from a major injury. Shump just got back and was pulled out for the entire second half. Love wasn't great, but he put effort in on the offensive end and at least rebounded the ball. He also got no post touches, something the coach should be drawing up.
That's why it goes Lue > LeBron then everyone else.
LeBron has been very bad by his standards for the last month. There are very few efforts where I think "man, LeBron played so well but we still lost..." We deserved every single loss we've had so far.
