Game #47 -|- Cavaliers @ Houston -|- February 1st, 2014 @ 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I didn't get to watch the game, but what's up with the negative posts about Dion? Why did he only play 26 minutes today when he was shooting very well. It looks like Dion and Kyrie had 4+ turnovers each.

He didn't stop the 2-on-1 after another Kyrie no-pass brick, so Waiters is a piece of shit. Plus there is speculation about his attitude because he didn't appear to be enjoying himself getting blown out again.

They did play hard. Games like this just show that its not all Brown. The team just isn't very good. Thats on Grant.

What the fuck? We didn't have Varejao on a night when Dwight abused us and only missed 1 shot. The roster isn't bad. We just suffer from a lack of proper coaching.

Agreed. There are a lot of things going on that culminate with what we are seeing on a nightly basis. People underestimate how important chemistry is for a basketball team. I love Waiters for his passion and heart, but it is also his worst enemy. There were 5 to 6 times tonight where he completely sulked and gave up on a play for various reasons. It is pretty obvious that the whole team has growing up to do, but when there are such obvious chemistry issues things need to change.

Dion has what I like to call "big dick syndrome" He is the guy that rolls into the porn shoot knowing hes packing 11 inches and Jenna Haze wants to go out with him after the shoot. Problem is, when Dion disrobes hes rocking 6 inches at full mast.

His talent quite simply does not match his attitude, and his expectations about what he should be able to do on the court.

He absolutely did sulk. I'm done looking at individual statistics to get excited. There are things you have to do to play winning basketball. Sulking when a shot doesn't go in, or dribbling out a possession like its a streetball (Kyrie) are not conducive to winning games. I don't give a shit what your statistics are anymore.

Hindsight champion of the world? Where I wait until results are in before I take the most negative view on the things that I can and stay silent on the positive things? No, not quite there, captain hindsight.

The things you're saying now, I've been saying since the start of the season. Before you said I thought I could see the future. Now you're saying its all hingsight? Nice try.

Varejao is a bad matchup for Dwight anyway. The roster is bad, its not all on Brown.

Nah, the hindsight part is: 1) Stay totally silent on all draft picks. 2) Wait till a draft pick shows some bad signs 3) Tell everyone how you knew all along he would suck. It's an easy job to always be right when you're looking into the past.

Take my advice...just let it be and let it crawl back under the bridge.

A lot of negativity tonight, I'm actually OK with the loss

They played a better team but at least they came out and played hard, it's better than what we saw the other night
I love getting continually blown out by double digit losses too!

Tristan just isn't a starting PF IMO. I don't know if Bennett is but against good front lines, Tristan looks overmatched.

I always liked Drummond over Dion and I always wanted Noel over Bennett.

Just so little to even think about building around. Thompson was awful, and he's rightfully getting shat on, but its by people that think Bennett is the future. Bennett is fucking terrible. We'll be sooo lucky if he manages to find his way into a consistent rotation in the future.

Kyrie and Dion aren't mediocre. Both project to have star potential and look like they have the potential to be major pieces of a contending team.

TT looks mediocre. And we don't know about Bennett because he came into this year with a myriad of issues.

Keep on being downers though. They'll prove you wrong in due time.

No.

Listen, Kyrie projects to be a star. Dion does not. You can't find a single statistic that would show that. I like his potential, but understand his PER is DOWN from last year. He's in the 12s. His EFG% is below 50. Right now, he's a very inefficient player. To say "he projects to be a star" just isn't true.
