About to head off to work, will get some of my stuff in here during my lunch break at work. Just wanted to post it as a reminder that I won't space this one.

Well this should be fun. Oh wait it won't. Expecting a loss.

Match the Cavs effort and just leave the original post as is. If some posters could get into fights in this thread, that would be even better. And Ben, Max & company - don't do anything about it. Thanks!

I think we will win this one. I think offense will flow today, with a lot of passing and player movement. Dion and Kyrie will score 20+ points again, Deng will score in the upper teens. TT will get another double double, Bennett will score just under 10 points with lower 40's FG%.

Wait you talking about NBA2K 2014? I could see that. In real life, this team comes out flat, down 13 at the end of 1, and down 18 at half.

After a couple nights partying in Dallas...

I think the Cavs put it together and get a win tonight

No no this is perfectly acceptable given the current status of the team. Doesn't really matter who they're playing.

Notes from Lloyd:

* Anderson Varejao will be a game-time decision tonight. He was expected to play Saturday at Houston, but the Cavs held him out a couple more days. There seems to be some optimism he'll be able to play tonight. Varejao said there is some pain in the knee, but he'll just have to play through it.

* Shawn Marion seems doubtful tonight with a shoulder/rib injury. Marion sounded pessimistic about playing tonight, but Mavs coach RIck Carlisle said he'll be another game-time decision. Jae Crowder, whom the Cavs drafted in the second round as part of the Tyler Zeller draft-night trade, will start if Marion can't go.

* Henry Sims has played about 18 minutes a night while Varejao has been injured after playing sparingly all season. Brown likes what Sims provides defensively and said the coaches are working on Tyler Zeller's defensive stance.

* Brown believes Zeller sometimes gets too upright defensively, which makes him a half-second slow. It has opened the door for Sims.

* Players seemed a bit more optimistic following the loss at Houston that they are at least starting to again play the right way. Brown really liked the ball movement after inserting Jarrett Jack into the lineup, a move that will stick for now, and is encouraged by what he saw. "It's no secret we need to get wins to build that confidence even more," Brown said.

* The Mavericks have won six of the last seven games in this series and 10 of the last 12 in Dallas.

I'm in limbo. I'm against the tank but I also don't see this as anything more than a lost season and would rather have more ping pong balls than a meaningless win against Dallas at the end of the season. I was so looking forward to having a competitive team and actually rooting for wins this year. Oh well...
