LePIP'S TIPS FOR VIC_TOR_EEEEEE

TIP #1. Keep the Crowd into the game

The Pistons are going to want to come in and take this crowd out of the game... It's imperative for the Cavs to sustain the energy in the building for the full 48.. KEEP ATTACKING.. Do not settle for jumpers...

TIP #2. Keep Rasheed Wallace in check

I don't care if Charles Barkley or anyone else believes in order for the Pistons to win, Rip and Chauncey need to have the big games... I disagree... Although they are extremely important to the success of the Pistons, Rasheed Wallace is their most important player... It's no coincidence he's played poorly in 3 straight, and the Cavs won... Not to mention, Rip and Billups had big game 3's, and Rip had a huge game 4, and they still lost.. There is really only one guy who hasn't played well in their 3 losses.. (Sheed)

Sheed is the key for the Rip down screen curl, he's also key in their 3 point attack... The Billups/Sheed pick and pop is money as well...

Keep Sheed in check, and you give yourself a chance, just like the last 3 games..

TIP #3. Limit the turnovers, and get on the glass..

The Pistons love to turn their defense into offense... They thrive on getting turnovers, and getting run-outs... They love the 3 on 1 break... If the Cavs limit their turnovers, that will take away another key ingredient for the Pistons success..

Also, get on the glass.. The Pistons also thrive on 2nd chance oppurtunities.. Gooden, Marshall, Z, AV, and LBJ must be windex like glass cleaners... Keep them off the offensive glass, and the Cavs take another important aspect away from them..

TIP #4. Play with a sense of urgency

The Pistons are going to want to come out and establish their dominance from the tip... The Cavs must combat this, and not only take their strongest punch, but punch the hell out of them right back... They must remember they have not accomplished nothing yet... No need for complacency.... IN OTHER WORDS...

STAY ON THEIR ASS THE WHOLE GAME...

Key Player

AV... He's been a pain in their ass this series, I look for more of the same.. He's really ruffling their feathers...

Although coach Brown looks like Mr. Potato Head, that's not what this is about... I've had one of these on my desk since i've gotten it.. It has powers... Cavs Mr. Potato Head = BADASS

Pistons fans are in "panic mode"

Remember the shot of McDyess sitting there with his hands on his head after the loss. Our guys ****ed up. Sheed ****ed us. Billups ****ed us. We sucked.

Dice played his azz off and the rest of the team f'n blew it.

Pistons last stand:

Pistons 100, LA Lakers 87.

Ben Wallace - 18 points, 22 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot.
Rip Hamilton - 21 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal.
Tayshaun Prince - 17 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block.
Chauncey Billups - 14 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds.
Rasheed Wallace - 11 points, 1 rebound, and 1 block.
Mehmet Okur - 7 points.
Corliss Williamson - 6 points and 3 rebounds.

Everything since then has been a cheap imitation living in the shadow of that moment, waiting for the real team to show up.

They are totally out-playing the Pistons. This version appears to be playing like the arrogant Lakers they beat in '04.

Put this team to bed, and then maybe Dumars can get some hungry players in here next season. This team is playing like *shiznit.

I would never ever want the Pistons to lose a series, but if I was a casual basketball fan without any particular favorites, I'd root for the Cavs. They deserve it and this bunch of fat-headed over confident Pistons don't.

*fudge Rasheed. We don't need his 13 points, 6 boards, and mouthful of BS anymore. All it does is get people fired up.

*fudge Flip. Playing 7 guys the entire season has gassed the starters, he doesn't play any of the bench still, he can't call a play, and he can't adjust to changes. Fire him.

And while we're at it, *fudge the rest of the team for not driving to the hoop or going after loose balls.

So sick of this.

I think it is ALL OVER... Spurs going down, Pistons going down.. it maybe the Heat vs Clippers...

It...........Is..........On. This game will be a deathmatch to the finish. I won't be able to see it unfortunatly but hopefully will get it on FM.

Our biggest need in this game IMO is controlling the glass and winning the rebound battle. No second chance shots for DET.

Cant wait to see this match. It will be awesome. If the Cavs and Pistons are even going into the last the Cavs will win with the crowd going nuts.

Lets go Cavs. Lets go to the ECF.

Wow this game is just so huge....

Get it done, Cavs..

Gotta finish them off on Friday. They will be tough to eliminate, and it will be much easier at the Q with the place ROCKIN!!! I think the fans will help give the Cavs energy to prevail.

LeBron is gonna have a HUGE game. Other players will step up. Time for the KNOCKOUT!!!

I wonder if Larry will come back for this game....would completely understand if he didn't. Could be a huge lift for us spiritually and off the bench.

My keys to this game:

LIMIT THE TURNOVERS

LIMIT 2nd CHANCE PTS FOR DET

I would have said control the boards, but that goes along with limiting Detroit's 2nd chances. They crash the boards hard when they want to - I can see them doing it hard on Friday. This could lead to fast break points for us, igniting the crowd (like it needs something...) and driving the nail deeper.

ONE TIME BABY ONE TIME

i thought sheed would be suspended for this game due to tech fouls??? not sure???

Once the playoffs started, his slate was clean..

He has 3 techs in the playoffs... 7 is the number of techs in the playoffs to get him suspended.

WTF..

16 techicals for an 82 game season and 7 for the playoffs...

82/16 = a Technical every 5 games
Maximum 28/7 = 4

Plus the Pistons won't be able to play 28 after handling Milwaukee..over analyzing? Yes..but it should be 5 at least..

With that said..LeBron and DA BENCH bring it full on the crowd is buzzing the Cavaliers cruise with a 7 point victory

The Pistons are going to come out charged and firing. They've got their backs to the wall, they've been on the brink of elimination before, and they've come out. They're still cocky as hell saying they're not concerned or anything and they still got that air of overconfidence.

This will be the biggest game of the season so far, a chance to put away the Pistons at home. Its going to be much easier to win in the Q than back in the Palace for a gmae 7, so this is an opportunity the Cavs need to jump on. Rasheed was still feeling the effects of that ankle sprain in game 5, so he probably won't be 100% in game 6. Hughes' status is as of now, still unknown as well.

Gotta win this one...Please let's not have another Cleveland heart break!!!

My key is rebounding. We didn't do a great job of this in Game 5. The Pistons aren't shooting well and I have no reason to think that suddenly they'll go Game 1 again in that department, but if we don't rebound, we give them more chances. Likewise, I don't expect us to suddenly shoot 50%, so we need to keep the offensive boards coming. (We did better than Detroit at this in Game 5.) I truly believe if we take care of this, we have a good shot.
