They won't be fine. We saw in last years playoffs that regular season poor defense can follow us to the finals. We should be building good habits now.

I actually agree with this 100%. It's not even his effort that I was mad at tonight. He's just developed this awful habit of ball watching and it hurts my soul every time and he did it on a key play right after we cut it to 1 with the Korver 3 and Saric loves the right corner and of course he just left him there. I actually thought LeBron tried most of the night defensively but he's built so many bad habits especially this season it kills me specifically with the turnovers that are unforced and the ball watching.

The problem is blaming the team performance on him. The Cleveland Cavaliers are bad because Lebron James sucks is just a comically awful take. We have team defensive problems and he is being put in somewhat of a no win position in terms of having to be the offensive motor and cover for others on defense.

Our problem tonight was less defense than offense. Yes, we failed to make some crucial stops late but if we had played a solid offensive game we would have won.

Oh I watched the game alright.. and I do see the plays you guys are talking about and does it make me happy.. no not at all.. but again like I’ve been saying and several others many times over and over.. he’s 33 years old with the most minutes played at that age and the most mins played in the season like always.. he’s been to 7 straight finals trying to make it 8 and he’s completely carrying the team offensively by himself now without kyrie and love being injured.. it’s pretty damn hard to cover for them defensively too. At least until the playoffs come. On top of that he’s got Lue playing him some games for entire fucking quarters? He’s not gonna be the shut down defender he was every game like he was at this age now.. it just ain’t happening.

We only gave up 108 points tonight. Philly shot 44% from the field and 33% from 3. That's not bad. Our problem tonight, like it has been the past few games, is that we shot like shit. That's not going to continue forever. We have too many good shooters for it to. Once all the new pieces gel things will improve. We're only 7 games in right now.
