Game 61 | Cavs @ Celtics | March 6th, 2009 | 8:00PM (ET)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mikki vs. Joe - Honestly, if our fate hangs in the balance of who we picked up between these too, I'd be worried either way.

Spoken like someone who got Mikki instead of Joe. :chuckles:

I doubt Celtics fans have already forgotten that PJ Brown was the difference between winning and losing the series against us.

Even with Garnett out I am getting jacked for tonight's game. Basically is Mo and West guard Rondo and Allen well I see us winning by a decent margin, maybe 5-9.Without KG their frontcourt is not much to take into account and with Smith playing tonight it should help us out a TON.

Chief Wahoo I just want to say thanks for a great write up for the game. I'm so pumped at my desk now that I can't focus on work. :hyper:Thanks again!!!

Go Cavs!!!

Our last game against them was fantastic and felt like we truly topped them. Let's make it official tonight. A didn't play in that game and we still doMinated. I can't wait.

Getting pumped! Day is going very slow.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but I believe the last 16 or 17 games of the series have been won by the home team. Tonight we finally break that trend!...

Joe Smith is expected to see some time tonight:

Cleveland Cavaliers expect Joe Smith to play tonight against Boston Celtics

BOSTON -- If all goes according to plan, Joe Smith will make his debut for the Cavaliers tonight against the Celtics. Tipoff is a 8 p.m.
The Cavs held almost a two-hour shootaround this morning at T.D. Banknorth Garden to help go over the plays for Smith, who was signed as a free agent on Thursday.

Smith took part in some of Thursday's practice at the Cavs training facility in Independence, then traveled with the team to Boston. Cavs coach Mike Brown said he plans to use Smith in his rotation tonight.

Meanwhile, Celtics forward Kevin Garnett is listed as out for tonight's game. He has missed nearly two weeks after injuring his knee. There had been talk that he might return for tonight's game.

Hey what was the story with Lebron's picture with the lady and KG and Pierce. I totally remember that happening but can't remember what the situation was. Can anyone help me out??

^LMAO. That was Lebron's mother. She didn't appreciate KG and PeePee's dirty play and she let them know about it. Lebron immediately told his mother "Ma! Sit yo' ass down!"

Yea, and LeBron took a little abuse for talking to his mother that way...

My prediction for the game:

I won't be able to get to a TV tonight but thank God that this is on ESPN instead of TNT.

ESPN 360's perfect feed > JustinTV's constant buffering

Can't wait for this game, i think Lebron could go off tonight. Pierce is their only chance at defending Bron, with T.Allen hurt they really have no one else to try and slow him down. Our front court should be the difference in this game, with no KG they really don't have an offensive threat down low. Z matches up pretty well with Perkins and AV/Smith shouldn't have a probelm with Big "Cry baby" Davis. They just can't give Davis too much space because he is able to hit the open jumper from about 15 feet out. I would love to see TK get some court time in this game, i think with his length/quickness, he can give Rondo fits on the defensive end. Our biggest concern could be Ray Allen, West has to play up on him and not give him too much space. I would rather have Pierce hurt us than him, once Allen gets hot from outside we could be in trouble. But gonna be a good game, i will definitely be nervous watching it even though we should have the advantage in this one. And its gonna be great to see Joe back.
