Game 64 | Cavaliers @ Bucks | March 6, 2010 | 8:30 PM (EST)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The rest of the league doesn't really appreciate all of the clowning, dancing, and camera clicking that the Cavs "graciously" perpetrate on the league while they're winning. Tonight, you saw young Jennings giving Cleveland a dose of its own medicine. How does it feel? Not good obviously.

Celebrating on your own bench is very different from acting like an ass with direct intent to a player or team.( I actually didn't witness whatever people were complaining about, but that's what I stand by)

I still don't see anything wrong with what the Cavs do.Its just rare because with most teams in the league players don't exactly mesh. When they see our guys like that, they automatically assume it's an insult to them

Let them celebrate whenever. Who cares. Put up or shut up.

Oh, and I'm not really sure Jennings is in any position to "teach lessons" considering he has shot better than 40% just FIVE TIMES since the new year started (32 games).

Seriously, FIVE GAMES OUT OF THIRTY-TWO! That doesn't put him in a slump. That just means he's a bad shooter. Which makes the fact that tonight was considered a good shooting night for him extremely laughable.

Brandon Jennings has started every game for a team that will finish with the 5th seed in the east as a 20 year old rookie. He's a winner. We don't care about his shooting percentage so long as he's making game winning decisions.

Go back and look at Jason Kidd's rookie season shooting percentages. Kidd parlayed that terrible shooting into a co-rookie of the year award DESPITE his team not qualifying for the playoffs. Grant Hill put up Tyreke type numbers on a losing team but still had to share the award with Kidd. In all honesty, Brandon should win at least a share of the ROY award since he's been the starting point guard on a playoff team all year long poor shooting percentage notwithstanding.

Since Milwaukee is not a glamor market, the league won't acknowledge Brandon's success with this team. I'd imagine Brandon would put up sick numbers if he was allowed free reign in a no defense, playground style, Golden State brand of basketball. Scott Skiles demands a lot of the kid. There is accountability on every possession.

Also, until Brandon Jennings does anything against us when we have our team out there...let him act like a fucking idiot.

He sure lit us up last time in their house

Why are you so positive the Bucks finish with the 5th seed? The Raptors are better than the Bucks with CB4.

There's no way you seriously believe that the Bucks are currently a better team than the Cavs.

Okay man. You beat a LeBron-less, Shaq-less, Cavaliers team fair and square. You won, happy? Is that what you wanted to hear?

I find it hilarious that you come to the board after a win and start telling us how the team with the best record in the NBA should act and such and such, like you're our God now or something. Get over yourself.

Not our fault that LeDucker didn't play. We were ready for him. Not saying the Bucks would have won. Also not saying the the Cavs would have won. As far as this game, we'll never know. Sure, Lebron will be set up better when he plays the Bucks at the Q. We'll be there, and we'll compete.

If you don't want me telling your team how to act, then lay off of Jennings' antics tonight....keep them out of a vacuum. Brandon was obviously responding to the trash that the Cavs dish out on the court and on their bench during pretty much every victory. If you don't want another player to mock your players, then don't give players the ammunition to do so.

The Bucks are three games over .500, and the main reason they are even at that point is because they were able to bring in another scorer essentially for free. I would hold off on this whole "Brandon is a winner" thing until the team is at least.... 5 games over .500.

And as for him winning the share of the ROY... no, he shouldn't. The ROY award has never taken into account team success, and it shouldn't. That's what the MVP award is for.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like Jennings. But don't come in here touting the kid as the greatest thing since sliced bread because he had a mediocre for the first time in months.

Right, because the championship the Bucks won 40 YEARS AGO is going to affect what happens this season....

Not to mention the guy who led the Bucks to that title is always remembered for what he did as a Laker and no one cares that he won in Milwaukee.

Okay then, so what do the George Karl Bucks have to do with Scott Skiles' current version? Only this season matters so we shouldn't cite history. Best record in the league means nothing right now. The Lakers are the Champs and both the Bucks and Cavs are simply contenders for the prize at this point. You're best record in the league doesn't win playoff series. The Orlando experience should have taught you that. Stay off of the high horse. You have nothing right now, just like everyone else not holding the title.

So basically he was mocking our team. ~_~

The Cavs never do anything like that to an opposing team. Not once can I think of a time this season where the one of our players started trash talking or mocking another team/player.

To me Jennings just comes off as bitter/sore after this.

Except, the difference is, what the Cavs "trash talk" isn't trash talk at all. The whole goosey thing is an inside joke with the team that isn't meant to as a slight to the other team in any way, shape, or form. The Cavs' "antics" are just them joking around with each other and enjoying themselves because they are playing A GAME.

What Jennings did was taunting. I've got no problem with it, but just be ready for the retaliation.

Where are the professional Bucks in the standings? Maybe they should act like clowns and they could get the #1 seed in the East.

Are you ready to hang your "#1 seed in the East" banner in the rafters of the Q yet? :chuckles:

Fixed :D

(Oh, and for the record... please tell me where on this site anyone is acting like the best record is something to celebrate? I think people are just using the records to point out the Cavs are, in fact, better than the Bucks)

Can we get a ban?

I respect other teams' fans coming onto the board to share opinions, but its childish arguements like these that make give such visits a bad name.

Why are you so positive the Bucks finish with the 5th seed? The Raptors are better than the Bucks with CB4.

In head to heads, the Bucks have kicked the Raps square in the tail. Head to head doesn't matter in this context, but the Bucks are simply a better team...especially now...than the Raptors. The Raptors don't defend. The Bucks defend. The Bucks may now have the best record in the league since the allstar break. If not, they're very close. Prior to tonight, I think the Bucks shared that distinction or were right behind the Cavaliers. I expect Miami to surpass the Raps as well. Charlotte will be your first round matchup in the 8th seed imo. Chicago? Lottery.

:chuckles: @ bucks being "contenders"
