This game has disaster written all over it

8 man squad it seems. Clarkson, Jose and new Big Z only real subs if Lue starts Nance, Green, LBJ, HHill and JR.

If Nance gets in foul trouble, or Green for that matter, rebounding is going to be a problem.

Is it too late to sign Perkins for a quickie?

I just hope the Cavs come in and dominate. Sure I want a win after the last game, but I just can’t possible listen or read about the LeBron to LA hype if we do lose. Treat this team like the Knicks back in the day. I want a 40 point cushion going into the 4th quarter.

Good. The fewer options for Lue, the better.

LeBron will show up tonight. Has to let the LA folks see what they'll be missing out on when he doesn't sign with them.

What's a gameplan for something like this?

How do we avoid being run on for 48 minutes?

The only thing we have going for us is 3 PGs, LeBron and Larry

The Lakers are going to try and run, no doubt about that. Randle is like a bull in a China shop, won't pass much but is consisent on boards and points. Ball has been shooting pretty well lately and gets his teammates involved with his passing. Ingram coming off an injury to his leg or groin or something. It will slow him down. Lopez shoots a lot from 3 to start the game. If he gets hot it gives them a lead. He looks like and moves like he is a 65 year old man in a mens league. It is ugly but efficient. You never know what Kuzma your going to get. He is horrible on defense along with IT, but they can both score in bunches. IT has been getting his groove back, I don't expect him to pass much tonight to show the Cavs they screwed up.

Zubac is another Zizic, underused but plays great. But Walton won't play him much. He would be a great pickup for Cleveland . Nance took him under his wing when he was with the Lakers. Zubac could become a very good 5 , but Lakers want to play small ball. So he has been in the D league a lot. Which doesn't make sense as he really came on for the Lakers last year, and in summer ball they quit using him and focused on Ball and Kuzma. They started using him again after Nance was traded. I think you guys would like Zubac a lot if you are a Zizica fan. I haven't seen Zizica play enough to know how he plays to compare the two.

It seems that to be able to fit on the Lakers you have to be a ball hog who seeks attention and doesn't care about team play. Which doesn't make sense why they got rid of Russell other than getting rid of the Mozgov contract. Russell would have been a good shooting guard to give them a young long term guy to go with Lonzo. But Heart has been coming along and shooting guards are pretty easy to come by. The Lakers main thoughts have been to clear cap space for free agents and get rid of unwanted players. All they talk about is getting LBJ and Paul George . The Lakers have been trying to offload their huge contract of Luol Deng, but they will end up eating it. He has played in 1 game all year and doesn't even sit on the bench or travel with the team. When the game starts he goes in the locker room and hangs out until the game is over and goes home. At over 18 million a year, not a bad gig. I feel sorry for him as a player because he just wants to play the game he loves and for the past two years he has played very little. He just wants to be a part of a team and contribute. I can't feel sorry for him about how much money he is taking home though. Not sure if he has 1 or 2 more years on his contract. Kupchack brought him on board with Mozgov thinking that would get them over the hump and help Kobe.
