Cavs absolutely should be attacking the close-out and making the easy dump-off to a big much much more often.
Of course...when it was TT in there an easy dump off was something that wasn't possible because of his 8 second gather/constantly getting stripped/fumbling everything. But with Nance it's just free points constantly.
If the Nets can teach Harris and Crabbe to do it consistently and properly...we should be able to teach our guys to. It's not a hard concept. Pump fake, dribble without traveling....drive straight line to the basket, take the baseline if you have it...dump it to the big or look for the shooter that should have rotated into the opposite corner. It's basic basketball and LBJ's gravity makes it soooo easy to take advantage of if we just pay attention to it.
