Couldn't watch tonight but damn, how did we let these clowns put up 100+ points?

We woke up in the 4th for the win.

Leon Powe is showing us all why Ferry picked him up. Tough as nails. A brute. An abuser.

And is moving better with every game. He's already looking less of a gimp than Garnett...

LeBron must read these forums since he only had three 3 point attempts:chuckles:

Oh shoot; you can bet your life on it. ALL players use the internet. If we think players only go to twitter or facebook and NO PLACE ELSE, we are very naive. Of course they will go to read a few minutes of their fan's sites. There is NO doubt about that.

That's why I cringe every time a thread is started in here bashing and trashing a player for some reason.

i can't wait to see windhorst's beat blog tonight, hopefully it has some more info of mike brown challenging lebron!

we're winning, winning, winning but not looking impressive doing it.

We'll have to wake up a bit to beat folks in the playoffs, because the way we play some days will not be enough to beat the good teams in playoff intensity type games.

Na, these are the games we need.

The playoffs won't be full of half hearted teams that just roll over.

It will be full of teams that won't go away, that keep fighting when they should be down. These games actually sharpen our skills.

Game Difference = No Goaltending Call :)
Not quit impressive but still a win. :)

I said this was a boring game Splitz...they were not concerned about playing with intensity..till about 5 minutes to go.

From the Detroit Free Press:

And although the Pistons (23-45) acknowledged the superiority of the Cavs (53-15), they noticeably fumed during the game about several calls involving James.

The most egregious came when Will Bynum raced in for a lay-up with 1:35 left with the Pistons trailing, 104-101. James swooped in for the blocked shot but appeared to catch the ball after it hit the backboard -- which would make that goaltending.

"Bad call. They know it was a bad call," Pistons coach John Kuester said. "It's a shame. That was a momentum-breaker. But, hey, that's the NBA."

Then there was a call where the officials gave James the continuation after he took three steps before completing a conventional three-point play. But you kind of have to expect that kind of stuff against arguably the top player in the league.

"Those are some tough calls," Villanueva said. "Those were momentum-changing calls, I'll say. I felt like we was getting in a roll of things. But the refs, they're not perfect. They make mistakes and whatnot. We just have to live with it and deal with it."

The continuation seemed like it was from so far away, but he only took two steps after being fouled. I'm not sure what the rule is, but he jumped from at least 10 feet away from the hoop. Sure, he got fouled at the three point line, but he can easily cover the 10-12 feet in two steps, unlike most players. Still, it was a bit questionable.

As for the block, yes it was a goal tend, but it wasn't completely obvious watching it live. Refs are probably so used to seeing him time it perfectly that they sort of expect that it's not a goal tend.

That's bull crap about the "traveling" call. Maybe I'm crazy, but I watched that play like 5 times, including the slowmo replay, and Lebron took exactly 2 steps after the foul. He covered and insane amount of ground in those 2 steps, but they were still 2 steps.

Go back and watch the replay.

And the goaltend on Bynum was far from conclusive. Even the slowest replay was almost imperceptible whether the ball hit the glass first or not. But the refs don't get slowmo replays. They have to call it live, and live it looked like a clean pin-block.

Bummer for Detroit, but hardly "bad calls".

Also, I blame the refs for Mo draining those three 3's... and LeBron's too. It's totally their fault Detroit lost this one.
