Doesn't the game have to at least be competitive for it to feel like a playoff game?
 
I have an EXTREMELY bad feeling about this one...Heat by 48. This would be comparable to Duke playing Tri-C in the opening round of the NCAA Tourney.
 
This feels like a massacre waiting to happen. Hopefully TT scores 40

I can understand why some fans will cheer for Lebron tonight and not the Heat as a team and I can also understand why some fans will not cheer for Lebron or the Heat tonight. What I don't understand is why fans who choose not to cheer for Lebron are bashing the ones that do. If you're a cavs fan you can be a Lebron James fan as well. You can also just be a casual fan of the game but why hate someone for cheering for Lebron because "you" hate his guts?

No, you can't. If you're a fan of a team, you do not cheer for that team's opponent.

1) It makes your own team look bad. How would you feel if you were on the court on your own team's fans were cheering for the players of the other team?

2) It makes you look bad. Makes you look pathetic and pitiful. Like you have no pride.

3)It confuses what being a fan of a TEAM is. If you're a fan of a team, you root for that team. You do not root for the teams playing against it, or the players playing against it. Otherwise, you're basically rooting against the team you're supposedly a fan of. AFter all, if you cheer for a player, you're cheering for him to do well, which in turn, means you're cheering for him to do well against your team.

You like LeBron and are a fan of his? Fine. Just don't cheer him when he plays against the team you supposedly support. Especially when its at home.

I'm at the game now. There are so many heat fans it's disgusting.
 
At game tonight.. surprised by number of people with heat jerseys (although not really). Lavish lebron with praise says chris " multiple sources" broussard. Fuck that shit, I'm booing. Hope cavs can put up at least a fight..

I completely agree with you bro. It's a pussy thing to cheer for man who broke his word that he gave to fans and organization. He was slap Cavs fans in the face on national television. People shouldn't forget about it so easily. If he comes back to Cleveland ok, maybe fans can forgive him, but he is in other uniform so no way that fans should cheer for him. For example, if Cleveland and NBA is in my country, and he do what he did, and he come to play the game in his former city, I guarantee that people will boo him at best, and likely reaction would be kicking his fans who cheers for him, because that is disgrace for us.

Reading this forum, I see many people who will swallow their pride for nothing, for some imaginary thing. The comment what if fans boo him and that made James realize he dont want to come back to Cavs its hilarious in my opinion. Worst thing is if fans give him all support and he slap fans in the face again. You can't loose something that is not your property, but pride is in your/our property.

P.S. Sorry for my bad English, I hope you understand what I am trying to say.
