Am I the only person that thinks Byron has the team play competitively for 3 quarters and then, yes deliberately, tanks the 4th? I think what he's doing might hurt the fans (it would've been awesome to beat the Thunder), but he's giving everyone ample playing time, the ability to develop, while still allowing the Cavaliers to have a reasonable shot at a high draft pick.
This is an assumption, but the pattern seems to fit. I don't think Scott cares that we lost, in fact, I'd guess he'd have preferred it this way. I could be wrong, but we didn't look bad against the Thunder, and no one got embarrassed... come end of the season, we'll be glad we lost games like this. It's definitely an acceptable loss, in a game against last year's second best team.
