Here's hoping I can bring back the magic this week.

Browns win a tough one. The Packers are hindered by injuries. Both teams are going to come at the other with the run all day. Weeden is going to get time to throw, unlike Rodgers (Discount Double-Check) who will be dealing with pass rush and Joe Haden covering up his best receiver. Browns 23 - Packers 19

I made the game thread last week for the first time and decided after that underhanded abomination that I would abstain this week.

Anyway: Jeff Triplette is our referee today.

Let's hope his crew does a more favorable job than Walt Coleman's. However, given his past history, I expect more of this:

Packers-30
Browns- 21

Two of the Browns TDs will be garbage time.

I cant wait to see another one of Weeden's game losing drives.

Sheard being back is nice. Would love for the defense to respond to that debacle last week. The Packers are pretty banged up, actually fairly banged up. James Jones, Casey Hayward and Mike Neal. Also Clay Matthews, Randall Cobb (obviously) and Nick Perry are out.

Not counting the Browns out, however, Weeds needs to step up and LET GO OF THE FUCKING FOOTBALL FASTER. Okay, that's all.

Great Lakes Oktoberfest on deck-- this could get ugly.

I would love to see this defense force some turnovers today, particularly some INTs. If we do, I think we steal a win.

Nothing like a game in Green Bay to get the blood flowing.

Some interesting factoids I came across today:

- Buster Skrine second in the NFL in pass breakups.
- Browns D is ranked 29th in the league on 3rd down allowing a 44% conversion rate.

To me, that's where the D-Line and LB depth comes into play. We've had significant injuries at both for the majority of the season (Mingo, Sheard, Rubin, Winn, Groves). Couple that with questionable secondary depth to begin with, and by third down this team is depleted.

I re-thought it and momentarily forgot this is in Green Bay.

34-12 Packers and no, I'm not kidding.

Weeden - 374 yards, 5 TD's
Browns 38 - Packers 27
World stops spinning on axis

Is it possible that Weeden will have slightly altered his game play?
I know he's wearing earmuffs, but I know he's going to try to not throw an INT.

Words that I don't think Weeden knows how to spell:

1. Anticipate

2. Guidance

3. Containment
