Game #70 | Boston Celtics @ Cleveland Cavaliers | March 27, 2013 | 7:00 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How can you say that? How can you possibly say that? If he was bringing Kyrie and Dion in off the bench when they weren't injured, then I would say he is making bad lineups.

What's hard to understand about winning meaningless games in April isn't our biggest priority?

Unless Kyrie and/or Dion are playing, I wouldn't care if we didn't win another game this season.

The fact that you are so short-sighted that you'd rather see meaningless wins NOW instead of do every single thing that could even possibly help the Cavs in the long term is your problem. Sure, we might not get the best pick possible even with the tank...but I'm willing to suffer in the short term for even an extra tenth of a percent chance to benefit my favorite team in the long run. It's worth it.

We've done that already. I was expecting progress this season. Honest to goodness progress. What do I get instead? A big old shit in my face from Byron Scott. Sick of it. I'm sick of losing in all 3 Cleveland sports. I want to win. I want to be competitive. I want the thrill of a good fighting chance.

Ladies and gentlemen, I realize my position isn't popular, but it's time something was said. And so I submit this; we must write letters. Write letters to Dan Gilbert. Let him know this effort is unacceptable. Let him know that we want a good product on the court.

Lol bro you crazy.

So what would a 10 game winning streak do for us? Nothing. Not a damn thing. Not a thing for attendance, playoff, or any other reason.

Other than dropping us 10 draft picks lower.

You were expecting us to win when Chris Grant clearly said at the begining of the season he was expecting a high lottery pick?

Sounds like you set yourself up for failure kid.

OK. Now... not sure if serious.

So you want to write letters, in one compromising voice (that's not what you wanted), to win these last 12 games? We are going to make a statement, about the final 12 games of the season?

Yeah. Rereading that leads me to believe he is trolling.

Do people still write letters?

I say we also send smoke signals, morse code, and telegrams!

Just remember, it must be in one, compromising voice. So like, all at once, we need to say things that compromise what everyone else is saying. It's gonna kick ass!

Jesus Christ man. You've officially lost it. Do you not understand that all of this losing has a purpose in mind? Someone said it earlier in the thread, but nearly all of us expect us to make the playoffs next season. NEXT SEASON. You writing angry letters to Dan Gilbert isn't going to chance the plan or direction of this team.

The time to write letters about winning was like 70 games ago. You wanted a winning product? Should have told Dan to spend more money this off-season. But you didn't do that. So why in the hell would anyone do it now, with no meaningful games left?

Because there is still time to get the message out that we aren't going to take this nonsense next season.

Despite everything you just said Pyro, I still love your fire.

It just cracks me up how the upset people just totally block out of their minds the fact that this team WAS turning the corner. They were winning games and showing real signs of progress, but then too many people got hurt, and it got derailed. As if somehow the team should just keep on trucking at the same pace minus the best players. No, Chris Quinn and Daniel Gibson cannot adequately fill in for Kyrie and Dion. Games that were once winnable now are not. 3 game win streaks are now not going to happen.

I think we all can agree there have been a lot of really good coaches fired. Byron Scott is not one of them.

Yes, any reasonable person would agree. I'd just like Corey to admit he's being unreasonable, but with the way he's spiraling right now, that seems unlikely. :chuckles:
