JJ rattles a three... fun for all

If the Cavs can just casually hit the 60 win mark playing the way they did half way through the season, it'll be a good sign.

lol fucking jr. special ed...

What is going on in here...

The segment of the fan base that frequents this thread is a scarred bunch. No idea what to do with themselves when there's nothing to complain about. It's a little bit funny but mostly sad.

As for the Cavs... I'm looking at the full standings and the Cavs are 3rd in the NBA in Opp PPG, tops in the East. Only the Jazz and Spurs are giving up fewer.

For all the talk about the defense being lousy and the overall inconsistency, that's pretty amazing right?

That's fine and good. They're staring to focus in at the right time. However, Opp PPG is a lousier stat than Def Rtg imo since the Cavs play at like the 2nd/3rd slowest pace in the NBA, so there are less shots...

Yeah I didn't want to say anything before because I didn't want to jinx it. It would be cool, but I have a feeling we'll finish at either 58 or 59 wins. Indiana tomorrow might be a loss since it's a road B2B and they always play us tough. I think we'll beat Chicago on Saturday, though I guess that's not a guarantee. And then you've gotta figure we'll be resting guys in one or both of the last two games against Atlanta and Detroit. Both of those teams will be fighting for places in the standings while we'll be simply waiting for the playoffs to start.

Beautiful offense. 65% from the floor in the first half, 55% overall. 18 3s and 30 assists on 41 made shots are quite impressive as well.

Like Lue said, just the best overall comprehensive game this team has put forth this season. That was great to see and has me EVEN more hyped for the postseason.

Just got back from the game. I live in Wi.

Bucks started JOB and Vaughn. Neither will be in the NBA in 2 years (well Vaughn could but RAPM has him as one of the two worst players in the NBA, but at least he is young). Middleton didnt play. This was Milw tanking. So while the Cavs looked really really good, a lot of that was because of a hapless Bucks squad.

That said, they looked great. The ball flew and guys hit the open shots. That first half was amazing. I think the team TS% was over .750 for the half.

Some side notes that probably weren't on TV:
LeBron led one huddle and was entirely absent for several. I mean was joking with guys as far away from the huddle as I was (well almost).

Kyrie came out of the locker room early after the half and got some shots up. He was clearly determined coming out after the half and played really well for the quarter after a lackluster first half.

Mozzy was getting chewed out by everyone. I thought he banged with Monroe really well and even had several blocks. He wasn't a positive offensively but at least he showed a glimmer of hope on d. But he was still clearly the team whipping boy.

KLove and LeBron sat next to one another during the 4th. But they were talking to other guys past the other guy. So both their conversations went through the other person. It was really really weird. I mean I'm sure it's nothing. I just don't know why they would sit like that.

Mo looked horrific. I thought he generally had a good first step but tonight he looked terrible. That step and a few others were gone. When I say terrible, I mean shouldn't make the playoff roster bad. Given that Ky and Delly have a propensity to get dinged I was really disappointed in his inability/unwillingness to stay ready.

There were many times Moz was established deep in the paint with LeBron holding the ball and looking right at him.. only to pass to someone else.

He has gotten better and pain-free. So obviously let's treat him like trash again. Wtf?

Well glad to see the this bi-polar thread has become the least I seen in a long time. However in the near end is prof when th Cavs play good you have nothing to talk about.

What a fun game to watch. The ball movement in the first half was a thing of beauty (not to mention J.R. hitting the made 3's franchise record). I hope the Cavs can play like this In the Playoffs, especially in more high pressure situations and/or when their shots aren't falling.
