Game 8 | Bucks @ Cavs: Tuesday Nov. 11th, 7pm ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Cavs vs. Bucks: Tuesday Nov. 11th, 7pm ET

One of buddies said that Mike Brown uses set rotations, is that true? Im pretty sure set rotains is when you have certain guys going in at different minutes, is that right? And if he does i think he needs to change that and go with the flow of the game because is situtians were boobie is ice cold think quickly and reach out kinsey or jawad or even pavs.

Re: Cavs vs. Bucks: Tuesday Nov. 11th, 7pm ET

Our bench was not in the game today....Wally and Boobie played the worst today but Andy and LBJ made a good job....We need our bench in the next game if we want to beat the Nuggets....

Do people really care about chalupas? I don't think I've ever gotten my free chalupa after the game.

If you ever had a nacho cheese chicken chalupa you wouldn't be asking this question.

Re: Cavs vs. Bucks: Tuesday Nov. 11th, 7pm ET

Final analysis:

Too much LeBron, Bucks went cold in the 4th, and AV's motor wore them down.

Now...here are 2 words I NEVER want to see in the same sentence:

Z.....repost.

It just doesn't happen, so why push it.

Moo

I'd say our perimeter defense finally took the game seriously in the 4th. We gave Sessions and Ridnour plenty of open looks all night. Delonte was decent with his halfcourt defense, Mo was outstanding in transition defense, but Boobie and Wally seemed a step slow most of the night.

AV is much better using his speed at his current weight... I just hope he can stay healthy.

I'd care about chalupa's damn it.

PIC OF THE HOT GIRL THAT GOT HER BOOB TOUCHED BY BRON BRON

Do you think they ever discussed how annoying it was that LeBron was blocking their view of the game? No. They were too busy enjoying multiple orgasms. Welcome to Cleveland, Riley and Wilbon.

Time for Camakazee's neat-o stats of the night,
(sponsored by: An Austin Carr "consequently.")

Superb Start... Fantastic Finish?

- With the win tonight, the Cavs are now 6-2 in the first 8 games of the season. This matches the start of their year two seasons ago in 2006-07 (Finals??? :chuckles:).

- After tonight's game, LeBron has started the first 8 games of the season with averages of 29.8 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 6.9 apg, and 1.9 spg. This marks his best ever points per game start in the first 8 games of the season. His other seasons started as follows:

03-04: 17.0 ppg
04-05: 27.4 ppg
05-06: 28.0 ppg
06-07: 28.6 ppg
07-08: 26.6 ppg.

- Also, in his last four games LeBron is averaging: 37.5 ppg, 9 rpg, 6 apg, 2 spg, 1 bpg.

- Despite missing his first ft tonight, Mo Williams has started the season going 15-16 from the charity stripe. This marks his best ever start to a season from the free throw line.

Making History?

- Tonight marks the first time in history that Wally Szczerbiak attempted both a fg and ft in a game, but failed to make either a fg or a ft. Thank God we have Walter here on the Cavs for this historic event.

- Anderson Varejao recorded his first double-double of the season tonight. His play of late has truly been key to the Cavaliers' success.

View From the Other Side.

- This is the first time this season that Milwaukee's opponent had under double digit turnovers in a game. In the 7 previous games, The Bucks' opponents committed 18, 19, 18, 16, 19, 18, and 16 turnovers for an average of 17.7 turnovers per game.

My review:

Lebron, LeBRON, LEBRON! Tonights game was all about Lebron and how he was able to shoot long jumpers. Once he got going with hitting them, they just kept coming. I just hope if he is off next game he won't keep on shooting them. He passed just enough to cause the double teams not to come that early. Having 3 of boobie, mo, delonte and wally out there caused a Bucks panic not to always double Lebron. In return, Lebron was able to hit in rhythm jumpers.

Mo made a few good defensive plays taking charges. Now if he could only play the pick n roll with a 25% success rate, we would be truckin'! I love it when Mo is drawing fouls and not forcing jumpers. Just the extra ease in ball handling has made the offense much more smooth out there when he is on the floor. It takes the ease off of guys like Boobie, Lebron and Delonte to not have to handle the ball the whole game. Mo MUST help rebounding, he is leaking out way too much or he is running out of the play chasing the jump shooters. He needs to be aware that if he is running out on a jump shooter and that shooter crashes the boards he may get burned. I would think Mike Brown would want the safer play to get back in the play defensively which means extra hustle.

Wild Thing was great out there and despite the team being outrebounded held his own inside. He converted on his opportunities. I think this is all we can ask out of Andy. 13 pts 10 boards and 2 blocks in 23 minutes. Any more minutes, he will foul out, I'm sure of that. ha.

Big Z played well defensively but looked very very slow on the defensive end. He didn't hedge enough against the jump shooters. This is the reason we didn't see Z much in the 4th.

Delonte got back on track offensively even creating for himself a few times in the half court. He made some good passes too. I thought 12 points 5 assists and 3 boards is good enough out of a role player who basically is the 4th option on offense now. He played better tonight defensively but didn't have to guard against the pick n roll like Boobie/Mo. He is probably better at defending that, but the pick n roll if executed right is always in the favor of the offense.

Boobie had an off game. Everyone knows that. Hopefully he will bounce back. He didn't get much help from the Bigs defending the pick n roll though. I wonder if it was planned to go under the screen against it.

Wally didn't do anything on the offensive end but I thought he got his hands on a few balls defensively. However, he was abused on the rebounds though. He was there but just couldn't get them. Its not good when Ridnour is stealing them away.

We hit our free throws 26-32. Awesome! Wally was 0-2 too! That means the sore spots weren't sore at all tonight at the line.

As for the Bucks, Ridnour seemed like he had a good game because all we can think about is when he got hot. He was a negative out there besides that one little hot streak. The Bucks stayed in the game with offensive rebounding and getting to the bonus early in quarters. Then they hit their free throws. In addition, they got hot with some good jump shooting/3pointers late in the 3rd. All teams go on runs and the Cavs or should I say Lebron responded going on his own personal hot streak in the 4th.

If Lebron scores 40+ with 4 other guys getting double figures, it will almost always be a win

Positives: Free Throw Shooting, Lebron, Delonte, Andy, oh yeah Lebron, Turnovers for, Mo's standing in the way!, Z's offense
Negatives: 3point shooting for and against, defensive rebounding, Boobie, Z's defense

Re: Cavs vs. Bucks: Tuesday Nov. 11th, 7pm ET

Ugly win, but I'll take it. The rebounding thing concerns me a bit, but our defense concerned me in the preseason and that sure got fixed.

However a great way to look at this win... We had 3, maybe 4 regular rotation players (Mo, Boobie, Wally, & even Ben) playing pretty friggin' poorly tonight and still found a way to win (Scrappy Defense in the 4th & Lebron).

Re: Cavs vs. Bucks: Tuesday Nov. 11th, 7pm ET

Fun game. I thought it was very exciting and scrappy. Looks like the Bucks are playing some good defense. Closer game than I expected. Better competition than I expected.

Nothing wrong with that girl in a white sweater, Max.
