Game 82 | Cavaliers vs. Sixers | April 15th, 2009 | 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No, against Serbs/foreigners or something, and the fact he also hates Z is troubling as well..when he is the 3rd best player on the team

I may not have an Anthropology degree but dont most American white people have European roots? :detective

If he likes players who are less skilled than Z on the team, why would he not like Z if he is not racist? Z is a nice guy so there is nothing you can even say about that

He may not like the fact that the guy is 7'3" and half the time plays like he is 6'6". He may not like the fact that he is pretty soft for a big man. That hardly makes him a racist; it simply would mean that he prefers big men who bang down low and can dominate inside. It's simply a matter of personal preference; race or ethnicity has NOTHING to do with it.

You and Moo should start your own forum called wehateonsashapavloic.com/forums.php so you can talk about it there, the guy had 20 points on 50% shooting,if he wasn't in the game, the game would have been lost before a OT was possible

How "fans" do not see this I don't understand

I guess you didnt the bad defense, forced shots and slew of turnovers.

But I hated Darius Miles and I'm black.

At the end of the day let's not forgot how the sixers helped us to get HCA by beating the Lakers:D

So I guess you would rather have a faster loss if it means you don't like turn overs, sometimes Mo and Lebron have 5 or more turn overs and I don't see you complaining.

He had to force things to happen today, the Cavs were undermanned so I don't see how you can complain, he was playing outside of his role today.

Complain about the free throw disparity.. not guys who actually tried their hardest today.

So much for momentum heading into the playoffs. We end the regular season with our 3rd longest losing streak of the year.....

LMAO! I'm white, and it really gets my goat when I hear guys just throw around the word "racist" like it applies to any circumstance where a guy of one race says anything even remotely disparaging against a guy of another race. If we're going to define "racism" so loosely, then what happens is that it cheapens the cases where true racism exists. People need to think before they speak (or type) and learn to delineate their thoughts. It's easy to sensationalize things by blurring our language because our thoughts are only as good as our language is. When we become sloppy with our choice of words we do a disservice to those we are speaking to and those we are speaking about.

He got dressed down by Mike Brown twice, just after Brown called timeouts after frustration. If he just shot, passed more, dribbled less, and made a stronger effort on defense, he wouldn't have gotten called out by various posters.

I don't think he's the reason they lost, personally, but there were some frustrating moments when Brown had to take him out because the Cavs could not handle the ball.

Sasha's stat line:

MIN|FG|3PT|FT|REB|AST|TO|STL|PF|PTS
41:17|9-18|2-5|0-2|3|2|5|1|6|20
If this was Delonte's stat line, no one would say anything

Regardless whether it is racism or not, it is prejudice and is unwarranted

The only thing you guys should complain about is the fact that the Sixers had 43 free throw attempts, and the Cavs only had 12.

Hopefully Karma sees this thread soon so he can set you guys straight!

i actually agree completely with taki, whether it's racism or not you guys are definitely complaining about the wrong thing, the refs lost the game, sasha kept us in it. im mexican and that has nothing to do with this.

id thank your posts but i guess i dont have enough posts to have the option yet so ill jsut use the black thing to rep

No, it's not even "prejudice." It's simply a guy who has an opinion that one particular player, Sasha, is a bonehead because he plays an unintelligent brand of basketball despite his occasional bouts of good shooting. It's one guy who recognizes that you can't encapsulate a player's total game by reading a stat line.

Now, if you want to say that he's prejudiced against boneheads, then you would probably be right. I, too, would fall into the "prejudiced against boneheads" group.
