GAME 9 | Cavaliers (7-1) vs Hornets (6-2) | Sunday Nov 13th 2016 | 3:30pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They need to use these games to build up the bench. I'd rather they use these regular season games to give more players experience.

After winning a championship, I thought we'd all be past the must win every game mode and into the use the regular season to work on the game and get role players more experience mode.

Agree, it's not like they played bad...

I'm cool letting a hot unit ride it out a bit. But boy was that risky. But we still won. So I guess Lue was right, although I think the game would have been long over if we got Love and Kyrie back out there sooner.

But it is encouraging we won a game with our second unit. So that's cool.

I really don't understand why Love wasn't more involved offensively after basically dominating. The team needs to not forget about this guy....

I think a possible reason might be that he uses this exact five as the bench unit when Love and Ky rest next games. This will be a confidence booster that way!

Kyrie must be pissed.. that's a new thing for him.
Love is cheering cause he is used to it from Blatt but where is Kyrie?

He doesn't look pissed.

Lue probably told them he wants to give the other guys the burn, and rest KI and Love.

lol LeBron finishes 1 reb and 2 as shy of a TD after playing like shit 90% of the game.
What a man.

We won that game due to defense first. So, its hard to say we'd play that same level of defense with Love/Kyrie out there. We switched quite a bit too.

That was a good win. Hornets have been good this year and we beat them without JR. I'll take it. We should have never started Dunleavy or played him as long as we did, but Mcrae coming in for the clutch minutes was kind of crazy. I was glad to see it on some level to get minutes over Dunleavy this game, but then Kyrie and Love never come back in to finish the game is the craziest part. Even though it is weird, we were rolling with the lineup we had so I get it somewhat.

Frye played amazing, hit six threes, LeBron's favorite target. Shump had 15 and played really well. Mcrae hit a clutch bucket so good for him.

Most concerning thing is that LeBron played 38 minutes, even though he probably coasted for 30 of them if we are honest.

The notion that Kyrie wasn't instrumental in winning a championship pretty much ends the idea that we're having a rational discussion.
Or it ended when we completely overlooked any criticism of kyrie because he made a shot.

We've gotten used to it though.

Saying Kyrie wasn't instrumental in winning the championship is like saying your dad wasn't instrumental in you getting born. Yeah, LeBron carried the load and all like all moms do. But if not for Kyrie as well as Dad' shot (;)), there is no Championship to celebrate.

Yeah, I know I should deactivate. Bye!

Except no one said that.

It's a shame people are so easily misguided when gouri decides what's being said

True, but I think a game like this Kevin Love should have led the way for us. I personally rather build more confidence in Kevin Love, and trust in him, than say Jordan MCrae, or a veteran like Jefferson that doesn't need it.

I'm fine leaving Frye in. It would have been crazy to pull him or Shump.

We need to trust Kevin when others are struggling. The Hornets had no answer for him, and we went away from him.

He had just 10 shots. This is game he should have had 28, easily, he was in a zone. Getting fouls, active, he looked like vintage Love.

Love played great, and only finished with 17..... Got to trust him when he's playing well and others are struggling.

But I'm glad we won and others stepped up too.
