No, Cedi didn't have to make that pass. And probably shouldn't have tried it.

BUT - George Hill was running into a wide open layup to ice the game. That's where Cedi was going. Clarkson got in the way and grabbed at the ball. Poor communication - Clarkson should've been aware as well. Everyone's blaming Cedi but there was far more to that play than just a "bad pass."
