Every time Garland struggles to finish I can't but wonder if he's ever going to get better at it. He's short, and not particularly athletic. Like.....he either makes a floater or...what?

I dunno why people don't want to at least keep Mckinnie the rest of the season. He definitely offers some things we need right now. A little bit of toughness on the perimeter. A guy willing to actually go and attempt to guard someone. Team can't just get rid of every useful vet and let the kids fall into a black hole.

He reminds me of Alonzo Gee, although not as big or limited offensively.

If Garland doesn't hit outside shots at a good clip I can't see him being much of a scorer. He's not quick or explosive going to the basket and seems unsure of his floater. But he's extremely young and inexperienced.

We know this. And I am sure the Cavs did when they took Darius. They are at the point of the rebuild where they are trying to collect talent and not worry about position and fit. That’s how you end up taking Waiters over Lillard.
