Game Thread 2019-20 Season Game #5 | Cleveland Cavaliers @ Indiana Pacers | Nov 1st, 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Damn Cedi going off, Brogdon is a load to handle.

I really love Brogdon
Bucks made a mistake in letting him go and keeping Bledsoe. He definitely improving his game.

Sexton defense looks good so far.

TT hook shot is money.

Indiana looks like shit. How the hell they beat the nets?

Cedi's confidence is through the roof after the last game. He's making plays on both sides of the court and is super collected. I love it. Exactly what I expect him to develop into.

It seems as though coach managed to make JC pass the ball? Hope it continues.

I hate Knight. Where is Garland or Sexton? Knight sucks.

Hot take I guess but Cavaliers as currently constructed are definitely not going to have a top 10 worst record at the end of the season.

So far we've played the Pacers(without Oladipo) and Bulls at home
Tonight we get the Pacers without Oladipo and Myles Turner.

Team looks it has a direction and grasp on the effort required to move in that direction. But when we come up against teams with talent and especially on the road, we are going to lose a lot.

This may be a season where we get a little bit of what we need in both directions:

- Prepared, having direction, player development, and effort
- 28-32 wins
- Lotto night slot somewhere between 7-10

Indiana had to make a snap decision on Bledsoe before ever knowing Brogdon was gonna improve like he did the following year and get offered as much as he did.

Hard to have that type of foresight.

If they let Bledsoe walk and Brogdon doesn't improve..then they look foolish, right?

Instead, w/o needing foresight, the mistake was in keep MIddleton over Brogdon this season and I know that's sort of a radical take but Brogdon is the better, younger player and would have thrived with Giannis as the true second option.

When Oladipo comes back I think you're gonna see Brogdon look like an all-star year in and year out.

even the pacer commentators were saying it was a bad call (Love offensive foul)

I wasn't expecting much excitement from the Cavs this season, even wondering if they'd be watchable. Well so far they're exceeding expectations.
Not the toughest competition we'll see but I'm liking the new effort and execution. Sexton, TT, Cedi all looking good. The way they're playing it has to be the coach or what is it?

Crashing the boards, contesting shots, pushing after makes and misses. Night and day from the awful coaching we've grown accustomed to.

gotta get KPJ some shots, rather have him taken shots than knight lol

Excellent awareness on the last possession of the first quarter by KPJ, excellent awareness!
He correctly rotated over to stop the ball handler (Goga) and contested his shot and forced a miss!

It seems like a 'routine' thing to do, but he had to make that decision and it's not as easy as it looks in the heat of a game.
