I think the lack of 3’s is a game plan thing. Interesting contrarian approach from the coaching staff.

It's more about the way the Clippers are playing(and Drummond being a black hole and no threat and giving them an extra freelance defender) defensively than anything. They have a really good group of versatile, long perimeter defenders. The guards have to use their speed to go by them, and they're largely staying home and daring the two guards to beat them from inside the arc.

No matter what, Allen shouldn't be playing huge minutes in February. Fighting for a playoff spot or not, don't make Tom Thibideau choices in February.

I do think Drummond needs a long break and Javale is fresh enough to step up.

Only thing more tiring than watching Drummond on the court is reading a game thread with 50%+ of the posts bemoaning what we all already know about Andre Drummond. He’s on the team for somewhere between 1 to 50more games. And he is going to play regular minutes at least for a few more weeks while they try to find a trade.

Can we maybe just get one Drummond post authorized poster per game to officially log all his transgressions and malfeasances and then the rest of us can talk about all things non-Drummond happening in the game?

I agree. I hate this whole keeping minutes down thing. Why? These dudes are young as fuck. AI was playing almost 48 mins a game and these young dudes have access to things that older players didn’t. Sexton should play 38 minutes, Garland 35 and Okoro 32.
