Game Thread 2020-21 Season | Game #10 | Cavs @ Bucks | January 9, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I doubt they'll check it, but I think that was a clear path foul.

That lineup is absurd in today's NBA, but I'm all for going against the grain.

It’s pretty funny watching this 3 C, 1 PF lineup in a game where we don’t have a single point guard available.

Looks like this team is sewing up another spot in the lottery! I like what Bickerstaff is doing with this team (especially on the defensive end) but this team is lacking major talent to step up to the next level (playoff contention)! Right now we have a team that is lacking. To be a contender you need to do one thing! Overwhelm your opponent! And you do that in two ways! Either you overwhelm them with a SUPERSTAR (LBJ, GANNIS, HARDEN, etc) or you overwhelm them with a collection of “star” players (like what GS had with KD, KLAY, STEF and DRAYMOND or what the Lakers had with AD and LBJ)! But you can’t overwhelm anybody with just average players and right now that’s what we have. I know everybody thinks highly of our backcourt....but they have yet to “carry” this team like Lillard and CJ. And I know everybody likes Okoro. He’s a real nice player but he has a long way to go. Nance is average.....and Cedi??? Well let’s just say he would riding the pine for a lot of contending teams. This team is a lottery franchise player and a trade for a top tier player away from the playoff picture. Unless you are content “struggling” every year for the last playoff spot!

Drummond told us he and Javale can play 1-5, and I cracked a drug joke. Damn... maybe so.

I can't even be mad about this one. Bickerstaff elected to go with 4 bigs on the floor for a while to keep Osman off of it. I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing.

Maybe I’m too nice and lenient, but without a single point guard and without Sexton, Garland, and even Love, I just don’t spend much time judging Nance, Cedi, and Okoro. For various reasons at this point in time they are complementary players on offense so the things they are being asked to do tonight are just so far outside the realm of their true role and value.

And sit your best shooter who played a great first half? He just gave it away.

Sexton better be back monday,,,,they had a chance to win this game if he played.

Okoro just has to have the ball in his hands more if we're stuck with this group again. The decision making of Cedi and Drummond has been, well, not good.

40 minutes for 3 guys tonight. That is riding them pretty hard. With all the guards hurt I get why you had little choice but to play Dotson that much, but I don’t understand why you don’t try to keep Drummond and Nance to around 35. Both Wade and McGee were well under 20 minutes tonight.

Pretty impressive effort tonight. Especially by Drummond and Dotson. Didn’t get embarrassed. Okoro and Stevens killed the team.
