Garland plays like a guy who is too keenly aware of what he can't do. He knows he can't finish in contact/amongst the trees. So he works angles for floaters and gets caught hunting a perfect shot. there's wisdom in this approach, but not being able to finish as a driving guard is a serious problem. ESPECIALLY WHEN HE ISN'T SHOOTING 3s!

The Cavs guards do that a lot! I tried to point that out when people were complaining about Dre not setting strong picks! The thing is he DID but our guards used to do the same thing that Garland just did!

Sad thing is this is the best game they've played in about 6 or 7 tries. Since Phoenix, basically.

They can't make an open 3 and they're too short to challenge shots.
