The injury ravaged Cavaliers play their third game in four days and the second night of a back-to-back at home against the 31-36 Pacers. At least the Cavs didn't have to travel last night. The Pacers are in 10th place and 2.5 games ahead of the Bulls with five to play, so they seem assured of a play-in spot. There's no way they can finish 6th and avoid the play-in but they are in good shape to finish 9th or 10th.

The Cavs have nothing to gain or lose. They are just staggering to the finish with guys on 10-day contracts (Martin, Kebengele), former developmental league guys (Wade, Thomas), and a retired player taking a curtain call (Andy). If I were to put together a lineup of injured players it would be Garland, Delly, Nance, Prince, and Hartenstein starting with Windler and Stevens off the bench. That team could probably beat the lineup the Cavs are starting tonight.

Indy has lost five of their last seven. In their last game Lavert scored 35, Sabonis 30, and nobody else had more than 13. The last time these teams played was five weeks ago with the Pacers winning 114-111. LaVert was out and Brogdon scored 29. Brogdon and Jeremy Lamb are questionable for tonight.

The Indiana Pacers continue to be without the services of starting center Myles Turner, who has been sidelined with a toe injury. TJ Warren is out for the season because of a foot issue, while JaKarr Sampson will not be available for selection due to a head injury.

Malcolm Brogdon's status is questionable following a hamstring problem. Jeremy Lamb's participation is also in question because of a knee issue. - sportskeeda.com

Brogdon is their leading scorer at 21.2 ppg followed closely by LaVert at 20.7 and Sabonis at 20.5 and 11.8 rebounds. I'd like to see Jarrett Allen show up tonight and at least make an effort to make Sabonis uncomfortable.

Lamb is hitting 40.6% on 3's so if he's out that will help the Cavs. Even if Lamb and Brogdon are out I expect whoever replaces them to have career games as we normally see when the Cavs are in these situations.

This is one they could win. May not be good for the tank, but I think the entire team is depressed

Tonight where be a game were Sexton, Okoro, and Allen are playing the second night of a back to back with the remainder of the rotation completely made up of essentially G Leaguers.

This is really not the game to include in an argument for making long term projections about how those three fit, what their ceiling is, how the make their teammates better etc.

Every time I think they could win because the other team is missing three starters and a couple of their top scorers the Cavs get hammered. Even if they had Garland, Nance, Hartenstein and Prince I would not be optimistic. I'll watch the game, but I don't know what I'm hoping to see. Maybe Thomas or Wade or Kabengele having a big game and making a case for being a role player next year.

That and just seeing a team that puts forth 100% in a meaningless last week of the season game.

Back to backs seemed good at the beginning of the year, but the last couple have been brutal with 7 guys.

Never,in my life I've seen a team so hurt..It makes no sense at all.

Cavs are gonna win this game. Sometimes I get these feelings. And I've got it tonight.

Hopefully Jarrett Allen doesn't sleepwalk through this one.

Does DG have a high ankle sprain?

Sabonis with the bully ball.

Allen needs to work on his man strength this off season......

Wow. That was nasty by Lavert.

If anyone out there is still a big believer in Jarrett Allen turn this game off.

Because this man looks, yet again, like absolute garbage.
