Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #14 | Celtics @ Cavs | Nov. 13, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Been lurking with a bad hangover but last night we saw what we wanted: Beating a team a lot worse than us roster wise. Now they understand that is what they can and should do every time they are playing an inferior roster talent opponent.

Tonight we saw another thing we want to see: the ability to put 32 minutes of horrible basketball behind them, claw back, and win a game that by all indications should have been a loss. Now they know and have a template to draw back on for not giving up and succeeding to come back from way down.

That happens with togetherness, talent, buy in, liking each other. Okoro was basically benched for the second half and he has cheering and clapping as loud as anyone on the bench.

As someone in AZ, hard for me to watch games.

Im so happy for y’all who get to. Following from afar!

I have NBA season ticket, i am probaly 30 minutes away, but 65 inch 4k tv, anytime, maybe even split a good 6 pack of beer.

This team has some major resilience. A lot of young, injured squads would have mailed that one in. They didn’t. And the best part is that I think the leadership it takes to keep fighting comes from the *collective* with this team. They’re all a bunch of fighters.

Hats off to the whole team who shit the court in the first half (Thank the BB gods for Garland who kept us in it) and then mounted a massive comeback.

One of the most important factors in life is ATTITUDE! Cedi came out in the 4th ready to kill or be killed. You look at his eyes and he was ready to ball. Same with Windler - he has to stop hesitating on shots and tiptoeing around the court. When he got going against the Pistons after passing up shots he started to be effective. He got going in the second half and it was critical to our comeback.

Valentine was all over Tatum.

Mobley is going to be interviewed on NBA TV in a minute …

Tatum's offensive ceiling is still very high imo.

But right now he's just not a good player.

He's actively hurting his team by how he plays offense.

He so VERY much wants to be Kobe except w/o the early career hounding Kobe defense.
He was also my least favorite player on Team USA this summer. Dude just refused to run offense.

Garland has to build stamina. Guy was wasted by the 3rd quarter.

Mobley is already better than Tatum, many people are saying this

He is just magnificent. Just a big, beautiful basketball player.

Many people are saying this. They're all saying it, you know?

Mobley has already learned all the things rookies must learn and has finished making rookie mistakes. He is no longer a rookie.
