I actually think it does matter if we lose by 35 versus actually playing to win. I could argue anything that happens in that 35 point blowout is garbage time and should be thrown out. But if the game stays at least somewhat competitive, then you can see some of what guys are really made of.
The development stuff Rch is talking about is what the D league, or practice, or really truly offseason work and then implemented in training camp scrimmages is for.
But Id much rather have the game we had tonight than to see us go down by 45 in the second quarter and then turn Okoro into the primary ball handler for "development". Thats just going to lower morale and make losing and not playing hard more of the norm.
