I like when teams go small to run our bigs off the court but then we just stay home on all shooters and Mobley and Allen swat the fuck out of everything that comes near the rim and so they pull them out of the paint on a switch and cant get past either of them and then they're like oh shit we cant contain Garlands penetration nor can we do anything to stop one of their 2 7 footers from scoring on the pick and roll without giving them wide open threes.

Yeah, there were definitely some good moments during the regular season of LeBron's second stint here, but I'll still always remember that stint on the whole as surprisingly unfun during the regular season but awesome in the postseason.

The reason the lob is so obviously there is because teams are legit gameplanning to take Mobley out the game. The paint is wide open for everyone

I don't think they're game planning for Mobley much. He's probably the guy the Wizards would WANT shooting right now. Him, Okoro and Rubio.

In the starting lineup, the spacing is mostly by Markkanen, who always draws a reasonably big guy way from the paint.

They can't play too far off him because he's so tall that you'll have no hope of contesting the shot unless you're right there with him. When he's knocking down shots for us, it really opens things up.

They definitely guard the Mobley screen roll differently than Allen because of Mobley's range. Mobley's range opens up everything for Allen. IF they wanted Mobley to shoot theyd send his defender down to slide and help on Allen slipping the screen or rolling
