Still a small sample size, but I'm going to be serving @Nathan S an entire murder of Crows to eat regarding the Isaac Okoro / Darius Garland back court.

Garland has exactly 1 reliable catch-and-shoot guy (Markkanen or occasionally Love) on the floor with him at any given time. And he's never looked better. Blows my mind.

I'll freely admit - when I ventured the idea of tall frontcourt and Ice-land back court, I assumed Okoro would be jumping from 29% from downtown to about a 34% or so.

I didn't expect Okoro to be the starting SG popping threes at 21%. Love the defense, but he's been far worse than I expected as an offensive entity.

But it's working! By crackey, it's working.

If Okoro can lock up (or at least contain) Donovan Mitchell on Sunday like he's done vs Beal in 2 games, he'll have done his job again even with a crappy offensive game.
