Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #56 | Cavs @ Pacers | Feb. 11, 2022 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Allen/Rondo interview is very entertaining. Rondo said he was thinking about retiring when he was in L.A., then later clarified he was "kinda joking." Was on bedrest with Covid for 10 days.

Rondo saying unsolicited that JBB is one of the best coaches he’s ever played with…good perspective from a guy who’s been around the game. Attention @InBoobieWeTrust lol

I was watching JBB in the presser and I was just thinking to myself that even he and Koby and the most ardent Cavs fan couldn’t have imagined this team‘s success so soon. Not that we’ve accomplished anything, yet, but we’re well on the road and a super fun team to watch. Let’s keep it going !
Feel like we have accomplished something. We are relevant again. First time we are relevant without LBJ since the 90’s

So impressed with Mobley. Has there ever been a rookie have such an impact on a team even when he doesn't really play well. 4ty quarter his defense was essentially perfect and that steal and the end...
Everybody contributed. This was a game that could have gone either way and we couldn't afford to have anybody go 3-for-13 or whatever. When you score 120 points and your leading scorer has 22 that says a lot about your team. I can't see that happening last year.

Seven players in double figures and that doesn't count Mobley, who scored 8. Even Dean Wade quietly kicked in 13 points and 3 steals in just 21 minutes.

Every game Bickerstaff has to figure out what the most effective 5-man unit is against whoever we're playing. Stevens was struggling with no points, rebounds, or assists in 8 minutes so JBB didn't go back to him. We've seen him do the same with other players when it wasn't their night.

The Cavs had seven turnovers in the first quarter which contributed greatly to the Pacers' 47-point explosion. The last three quarters they had six turnovers. That was as big as the defensive lockdown.

Rondo said some of the Pacers stopped by the Cavs' huddle after the first quarter to talk some trash. That turned out to be a mistake.

Rondo keeps gushing about the Cavaliers. He said Garland is the "best closer in the game". He said Mobley is probably the most talented rookie he's ever played with. He said the team is "special".

I love the way he called Garland back to watch the game film together. Between Rondo and Rubio, Darius is getting quite an education this season and you can see the results. The organization is very smart to bring in guys like Dellevedova, Rubio, and Rondo to help accellerate the development of their young guys.

A mere 30 years ago. Even only 25!

Well I hope.. because Kevin says "he tweaked his back" and then the trainer comes in like he's concerned, and then Garland holds it at the end [in a slowed down version]:

How much of a clueless moron is TT anyhow? And people wanted this fuckhead back on our team?
