Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #76 | Mavericks @ Cavaliers | March 30, 2022 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
When we were down by 10 with about 2 minutes left we kept attacking the paint with poor success. We had a chance to pull up for three early in the shot clock every time but we didn't. I can't figure out why. It seemed like we weren't really trying to win in the last minutes, only trying to trade baskets.

He should still be able to coach a cohesive product on the floor. Great defensive teams don’t automatically collapse into bottom feeders.
It’s not the talent that JBB lost, it’s the GIMMICK that he lost. He’s unable to coach a coherent defensive unit that isn’t tailor made to have something no other team has at their disposal.

He’s got access to a group of personnel that could stop teams from putting up 120 pt games and 35+ Pt quarters at will but he doesn’t know how to deploy or use that personnel.

Go along troll, call your cousin or whatever he is to you and tell him how nothing is his fault ever and you have his back from all the haters no matter what BS you have to use to obfuscate from the main point being made
When have I once even said JBB is a good coach? I think he’s mediocre with potential to get better and we’re not going to get a top 5 coach.

I just hate lazy arguments

They'll be 1 and a half ahead of the Hawks after tomorrow night.

Unless Allen comes back soon, I think we're looking at 1 win the rest of the way.

IF the Hawks beat us, that is.

And like I said, we could easily EASILY end up with 1 win the rest of the way and still end up 8th.

Shit if we can manage to beat the Knicks and Orlando then it becomes really hard to imagine a scenario where we drop below 8. And who knows what kind of resting will be done by Bkn/Mil on the last two RS games.

It’s not impossible but if we’re talking likelihood I’d say the Cavs staying top 8 is more likely than not.

One reason I was and am still in favor of the LeVert deal (as well as some other guys who fit the bill) was because his contract is up the same year as Loves.

And truly, that's the off-season I see the Cavs going from sparky, fun team into contender status.

And no, that doesn't mean I Think they'll be able to spend 30 million on some monster FA. But a group of them who better fit the roster.

Just gotta wait out that 30 million dollar deal.

I love me some Moses but there a reason why he can’t stick with a team, he can only play in the key on offense and Defense, we we’re getting torch by Dallas with all the threes all game And they hitting a lot when he was in the game ….he more playable against traditional centers…….

Sad that the season has derailed like this, a successful season either way. Allen, Garland, Mobley. Try and get some better fit around them and maybe next season we will have a little more luck with injuries though i wouldnt bank on it

I understand but you have to coach the game that's in front of you, as it's being played.

Kevin Love literally stood still as Caris tried to get him the ball from the ground while Mavs players just ran to it and took it. That was the effort.

And then he played like another 5 straight minutes and that was the game. At some point, you gotta go against your gut and try the guy who was, at least, minimally effective.

Is it just me or do the Cavs miss more wide-open 3’s than any other team in the NBA?
I think we're 24th in 3 point percentage. So there are 6 teams worse. But precisely open threes, you'd have to look into the advanced analytics.

More like team playing there top 9 players with no injuries right now….

I mean they aren't missing what we're missing but they certainly don't have their top 9 players. Dinwiddie has been their second best player since getting there and Hardaway is out of the season.
