Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How bad is it in Cleveland. I am in Louisville, and it is -6 and it rained before it froze and then snow, so the roads are hell
Similar. It’s -5 with a -30 wind chill right now. Everything iced over this morning, I’m not even attempting to go out unless absolutely necessary.

-10 when we got up this morning in Peoria. Now -4. 23 mph winds. -32 wind chill. The good thing is, no one is on the roads. We only have about 2 inches of snow, so driving is no problem.

View out my back door. Doesn’t look so bad until you factor in the 55mph wind gusts. Cleveland current conditions map attached. You know it’s frightful outside when ticket resales are available for $8.62DB10AB-31F5-48AF-ABF8-F2F1A724D127.jpeg2028296C-795C-4406-A589-B7E5B7977E57.jpeg

Raptors are a bad matchup for us. They play scrappy, which is something we’re supposed to do, but aren’t the best at. Although we have a good defense, we give up some unacceptable rebounds and we are last in the league in steals. Toronto is first in steals.

Brad Daugherty kept talking about our “length.” We have a length advantage at one position: PF (Mobley). We’re undersized at the 1, 2, and 3. This is where the Raptors can get a decent 10-12 foot look whenever they want. And if they are hitting their threes, we’re cooked. Our dumbass slow pace doesn’t matchup well with Toronto. They force you to play fast. So either you accept the fact that you need to play fast, or you allow yourself to be pressured by them.

If nobody is at the game it will be an advantage for the Raptors. But it's still a game between a 16-2 team and a 4-12 team when you consider the venue.

If Mobley is out the Cavs probably put Allen on Siakam (they put him on Giannis last game). That puts Love on either Koloko or Hernangomez, neither of which are scorers. They may have to use Lopez to spell Love.

A big matchup will be Okoro on OG, assuming Stevens is still out. But that means Mitchell will have to check Barnes, who is listed at 6'7", 225.

The Raptors are very physical between Siakam (6'8", 230), OG (6'7", 232), and Barnes. If Mobley, Wade, and Stevens are all out we will have some matchup problems. But if they are missing Trent, Porter, and Achiuwa they will be very thin.

They both start with LO, and E but I am sure they can find a V on top of the LO and E for Love's jersey without using Lopez's. They have plenty of letters.

The wind is crazy

It's cold as hell but the roads were surprisingly well plowed when I was out this morning. 480 had one lane moving at 40+ mph in each direction between 306 and 91. Off ramp was slippery though and turning corners was tricky. But overall not nearly as bad as I feared.

They do play scrappy, gambling for steals with a high risk/high reward defense. They do a great job of collapsing in the paint and surrounding and stripping the big if he doesn't get the shot up right away. I would actually like to see Mitchell, Garland, and LeVert get dribble penetration rather than throwing the ball around. The Raptors are good at jumping the passing lanes.

I would not say we're undersized at point guard; VanVleet is only 6'1". If Trent is out they could go with three forwards in Barnes, OG, and Siakam, with Koloko or Hernangomez at center. But neither of them are shooters so they're basically going 4-on-5.

I would have Allen guard Siakam and give him a cushion to prevent the drive. Force him to take 2-point jumpers over a big man.

Man, I used to live right next to the red line and could have gone for 8 bucks
Lol the trains can't handle the subzero temps, the switches freeze. You take that train to the game on a day like this you might get stranded.

i remember several games with horrible weather when no one could brave the drive to attend the game. Cleveland always seems to perform well and the crowd that does actually show up is very loud. Schedule win thanks to mother nature. Too bad betting is not legal yet. This is a bet the house win on the money line.
