Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yea, plus i never felt that he embraced being in Cleveland. I appreciate what he did for us but I don't get that Lebron feeling when i think of Kyrie. Hell, JR was more into the city of Cleveland than Kyrie (imo).
JR was more "Cleveland" than Kyrie or LeBron ever were.

A guy who shunned the region for 5 years after he forced his way out is hardly anyone’s idea of a hometown hero.
His number won’t be retired by any team he has played for! He hasn’t been committed enough to any team to deserve having his number retired. Just because he hit “the shot” doesn’t mean he deserves his jersey in the rafters at the Fieldhouse.

I don’t get a great feeling from LeBron either. Dude left the city twice lol.

Transactional. The relationship itself was convenient marketing hype to build a narrative. He’s from Akron.

If Cleveland had won championships before him, he wouldn’t be looked on as favorably and far fewer people would have even considered the idea of him coming back a third time.

Loved watching him though!
