Yeah,as LeBron says: 'yo Miami sleazy sleazy'. People with to much money looking for thrills. Lived in Florida for 5 years during the housing boom. Not my kind of state. Bunch of weirdos and perverts hiding behind sissy complex. Of the southern states, South Carolina was my favorite believe it or not.

If you travel around the state, each area is very different.

Lived in Orlando for years and loved it. Suburbs of it are unique and very livable.

St Augustine is one of the cooler towns I’ve been too. Mt Dora has developed into a poor man’s version of it. St Pete is cool. Sanibel is cool. The Keys are cool, though not for everyone. Delray Beach was cool, but might fit the label you’re describing. I like Ft Myers even if its a little more favorable to the oldies, just bc there’s a lot to do.

Lot of state parks, beaches in FL.

When people say they dislike FL, I always wonder how much they got around. If I only spent time in Daytona, Miami, or the attractions in Orlando, I’d certainly feel the same.

As a current Florida resident, this is pretty spot on, imo. I grew up in Ohio and moved to Florida around 22 years old. Never looked back. I would also agree that the Carolina's are beautiful, but I'm sure there are sketchy parts there too.

Huge two games in Miami this week. Things are about to be ramped up to a playoff-like level and it's gonna be beautiful to see. I have a feeling the Cavs are eager to show what they're made of.

Drink bourbon in the first half and then drink water in the second half. It's the second halves the Cavs struggle with. And if it doesn't work, you're already drunk for the second half anyway.
