Game Thread | Game #80 | Cavs @ Magic | April 4, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So do we cut wham or just send him down to the end of the bench

The only answer is to cut Wham, and when i mean cut him, i do mean with a knife.

Or maybe change his avatar to a picture of George Michael to change the meaning of the word Wham in his name?

Whatever you decide....wake me up, before you go go.

Okay, I'm more nervous about this game than Indiana. Yet, if they focus on interior scoring, we should win. Our interior defense is good.

60% chance of winning. 121-107 Cavs

The big question remaining is, will Mitchell score 40 again? Who do they have that can defend him?

With Orlando’s size putting the browns against them isn’t a bad idea

I saw them beat the Wizards live the other day. Wendell Carter is an enormous human being, Franz Wagner is extremely skilled for his size, and once Paolo Banchero gets a more reliable jumper/three point shot he’s going to tear up this league because that’s all he’s missing

they are 1 more season and a great guard away from being scary.

Don't know if I like so much rest before the playoffs. When Mitchell and DG came out of the all-star break they couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. Took them a few games to warm up.

I just want the Force... I mean the Cavs to get out of this game healthy. If I have to look back in one month at the night we had the four seed under control and one of the Core Four suffered something serious, I'll remember this season for all the wrong reasons instead of the right reasons. I still grit my teeth thinking about Ben Wallace's late season fractured leg.

They'll win both games by 6 or less.

Jim Chones broke his foot in practice just before the Boston series.

NOT THE GAME!

NOT THE GAME HE DIED OUT THERE EVERY DAY!

He broke his foot in Practice.

Tough break for the Crusaders but accidents and injuries can happen anytime.

Do you think Kai Haaskivi will be healthy in time for the playoffs?

OK, almost game time so I fixed the thread title for real this time.

FWIW, I think Dean Wade is key. It looks like Okoro may be out indefinitely. If Wade can play good defense on Wagner or Banchero the next two games so the Cavs can get a W and home court advantage then he will have earned his salary.

The Knicks hammered us on the offensive and defensive glass last week. A front line of Allen, Mobley, and Wade would provide enough defense and rebounding to go along with the scoring and assists of Garland and Mitchell to give the Cavs a solid chance of advancing, especially with the HCA.

Let's do my individual scoring prediction:

Mitchell 35
Garland 25
Mobley 23
Allen 15
Wade? 10

Total for starters: 108

Bench: 34
LeVert: 15
Rubio: 5
Osman: 10
Stevens: 4

Total: 142 That's more than my predicted team total of 121 I made earlier, but maybe we pull our starters early? I hope so.
