This guy's been my fav for a couple of years now. I have no clue as to why this would happen. I'm kinda shocked.

BRISTOL, Conn.(AP) Harold Reynolds is out at ESPN, reportedly fired from his job as a baseball analyst.

Reynolds, a member of the "Baseball Tonight" team for 11 years, made his last appearance on the show Sunday night, ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said Tuesday.

The network refused to comment on a New York Post report that said Reynolds was dismissed, or to provide any details regarding his departure.

"All I can say is he is no longer working here," Krulewitz said.

Reynolds, who played 12 major league seasons, joined ESPN in 1996. In addition to his work on Baseball Tonight, the former Gold Glove-winning second baseman also covered the College World Series and the Little League World Series for the network.

ESPN already was dealing with the loss of another baseball analyst, Peter Gammons, who has been off the air since he was stricken with a brain aneurysm on June 27.

Word on the street is he tried to use Kruk's right man boob to show the viewers how to throw a Knuckle Curve...Kruk got pissed and stormed off the set.. Did anyone see this ? Supposedly it was before the Sunday night game of the week.

It's just speculation at this point, but that might have been the reason he got canned ?

Regardless, I'm devastated

Probably too boring.

ESPN is more and more into entertainment sports.

He is getting canned cause Steaphen A. said SO!

Wow....harold is one of the best play by play men for baseball. He is also a damn good host on that show.

Very stupid move by ESPN....He is a damn good broadcaster.

i guess ESPN is more concerned with giving cruddy sports writes on Around the Horn a show then keeping someone who actually knows what the hell they are talking about.

I'm glad he sucked but then again so does basicly everyone on espn nowadays.

I guess we need more people to yell at us when we watch sports....

am i the only who is wondering how raynolds got fired, and berman is still able to be there? berman needs to go, he is like the old guy at your job, he has been there longer then anyone else, but nobody can fire him, for that exact reason.

You just knew that mustache would get him fired sooner or later..

He hugged a co-worker and got accused of sexual harassment. Sounds like BS...time will tell.

yea, apparently he confirmed it, innapropriate hug at an outback steakhouse.

Reynolds Confirms Firing For Sexual Harassment
Well, definitive word came down this morning: As had been initially suspected, Harold Reynolds was fired by ESPN because of sexual harassment, specifically toward an ESPN co-worker. (The Big Lead says it was an "inappropriate hug" toward a PA at an Outback Steakhouse.)

Reynolds spoke to the New York Post and doesn't believe he did anything wrong.

"This was a total misunderstanding," Reynolds told The Post. "My goal is to sit down and get back. To be honest with you, I gave a woman a hug and I felt like it was misinterpreted."
The Big Lead, who needs to put a gold star next to its source on this, says it was a minor incident that blew into a larger one because of Reynolds' history of behavior. Reynolds, for his part, still wants his job back. We think it wise that he not hold his breath.
